I have recently played some other servers with the command /helpop which is a command that contacts a Mod that is in-game. This could be very helpful for us players to use that command while in combat then having to /spawn and finding a Staff Member. This is how it would be used: /helpop {message} This would be the fastest way to contact a Mod (online) Thank you
Neutral. I agree and if there was a /helpop ignore command basically all mods would use it for because of spam. Great idea though.
That wouldnt work because there are many people on the server. If 20 people just ask for help at once, this would create quite the spam. Even if there was a cooldown. It wouldnt do much.
That's why I thought we could impalement /helpop ignore EDIT: Also if someone decides to spam that could lead to a mute maybe?
That is technically mod abuse. If they see a player spamming they need help, they need to help them.. Not just ignore them.
Adding on to this, how would they mute the player?? Mute just on a specific game mode or lobby? Or stop them for using /helpop for 24 hours?
If someone needs help, they can do /staff find a mod, go to the server they are in and ask for help. Mods are obligated to accept those. However especially people who hate mods would spam this feature. In this case, the old fashioned way is a better decision in my opinion
If you are in combat say in kitpvp go do /spawn or something and then Log off. Plus in a game like bedwars mods can't even join the same game. Hackers don't just suddenly log off bc a mod comes. They turn their hacks off which either way will happen
No support, you can /msg, /t, /tell and /whisper to a moderator ingame. /helpop is a chat, which only moderators do see. If a moderator is on a different gamemode, you can simply use /gmsg (moderator name) to text them. I don't think this is well-needed.
