That's not very nice :( She just stated what she think is going on, and it's somewhat true! My friend Moooose and I lost 6 accounts combined, Jenn lost hers and pastel and Shireen are also getting hacked. I don't know if you saw what happened to my account but if you did yeah it was hacked.
So for forums you need to do the two factor authentication, for your minecraft you need to make a brand new email something super random and a pass switch your account to that email, and for skype just make a new one! I found out I was ratted so I factory reset my whole pc!
Let me edit that. I didn't mean that. Since some of the people including you joined like August, September you did not see. What I mean is usually we do get ddox attacks, hacked accounts, etc. So people that have been here for a long time like me, know what happens.
Ddox? Are you combining dox and ddos? Well they're not the same thing! A ddos is when your internet goes out "Denial of Service" and a dox is "search for and publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the Internet, typically with malicious intent" so ya hope this cleared things through! People can't hack minecraft accounts unless they dox you and find your passwords and emails ORRR they can rat your computer which happened to me, a rat is "A remote access Trojan (RAT) is a malware program that includes a back door for administrative control over the target computer. RATs are usually downloaded invisibly with a user-requested program -- such as a game -- or sent as an email attachment" they will get most of your Information just by sending this little thing into your computer! That's not what happens. Just because you have been here for quite a while doesn't mean you know every thing going on. People make things up like say their account got hacked but it really didn't. They are just ban envading thinking it's cool to have a "hacked account" People Ddosing players are just angry people who can't have fun at a kids game. Savage
Jesus, guys. The backing of accounts has been here forever, you can't say it "just started" to happen, obviously not. If you remember him, TheSteeFlame, was a known hacker throughout the Mineverse community. He would rat accounts all the time. Don't even say it's new. Mineverse has had its good days and bad days. Just because it isn't working too well right now doesn't mean it's the end. Please, don't talk about a topic you don't fully understand. I've had FIVE different DoX's on me dropped. All containing personal information (laughing because the majority of it was wrong) I've been DDoS'd a couple of times, and threatened to have my account hacked by large groups, such as D3x. Just, ugh. You're starting a topic that not everyone knows enough about. Tl;dr Just use 2fa if you don't want to be hacked, make sure your passwords are long enough (20 characters for better security)

Ok, I made a thread regarding people who say this kind of stuff, and I think it applies to you. The Mineverse owners own multiple fully-fledged servers, which they maintain working on. I find it sort of disrespectful when you make a statement like this, as a lot, and I mean a LOT of people don't understand the hassle and stress and time it takes to make a server that actually keeps players... Playing. As for your accounts, or others accounts who are being hacked, I do not see how Mineverse has anything to do with your accounts being hacked. There is nothing about playing on a Minecraft server that would cause your account to be compromised. Infact it is no-ones fault but your own most likely. An account cannot just be hacked, it takes time and effort to perform a successful hack, and having a weak password or not many security options or questions makes it more and more easy for the account to be cracked. So, if people are being hacked, then I suggest they protect their account more, and keep it secure -- not blame a server. Edit; When you state that Mineverse is 'doomed' because moderators are resigning, this isn't correct at all. The staff team do a brilliant job of keeping this server safe, and a reliable place to play, when a moderator resigns, it is most likely due to personal problems / issues, or simply the fact that they wish to no longer moderate the server. It is entirely their option whether they donate their time to help the server out. And it certainly isn't dooming Mineverse. Have a nice day.
Got an idea. Ban all the hackers from the lobby, all the PC hackers etc. Mineverse is saved. Job done.
lol, yall shoulda been around in august 2014 xp. A few people leaving and the server having some problems is nothing new. Just an old trend if youve been around for a while.
