Noobcrew I think you should add the Gamemode "BlockParty" this addicting game is fun and very addicting. Not advertising but this server has Blockparty and has made it popular "hivemc" It's like musical chairs in a theory. You have to go to the right block and once everyone's dead you win. You would first of all need someone to make the map and also then setup the plugin and the API System showing who is in the Lobby of the game so the Music address works. It will take some work to do but I guarantee you will have Mineverse on that server addicted and it would be great to have a Mini-game in that will be fun to play. Parkour/Survival Games/Skywars are fun sure but they get boring. Parkour doesn't have more then 4 Levels, Survival Games is a bit laggy, Skywars is laggy as well and not that great. But that's just my opinion. So maybe play the Gamemode yourself and tell me how you feel about it and if you like it enough maybe you will add it.
If we were to add new gamemodes, I would prefer that we had original modes. We could still have it, but we would need to add a big twist. Some people get pretty mad when they see a smaller server copied a big server's gamemode...
Then what about Prison, Survival Games, Kitpvp, OP PvP, Skygrid. The only thing that is original to Mineverse is Skyblock as Noobcrew is the creator of it. Also if you didn't know Blockparty is made by XxChxppellxX, Leon167 and the plugin is located here: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/blockparty/ It's Public and I don't believe HiveMC will be mad when they actually have just made it more famous. If Mineverse had it and had a better map or had there own "Flavor" to it then it would be more original but I don't think HiveMC will be mad when Mineverse uses a Public Plugin. So you are wrong about this subject and should be more educated on the facts.
As I was saying, some people get pretty angry when a server copies another. Sure, kitpvp, survival games, and skygrid are all copied from others, but they all have their own special touch of mineverse. I am not saying this is a bad idea, I am just saying that if we were to use this, it would be nice to have something original in it to make it stand out.
I have watched many YouTube videos on this and played it twice. I love it and should be added to Mineverse.
I personally think Mineverse will be seeing some drastic changed in 1.8. I heard kit Titan and some server resets are to happen. Maybe more gamemodes will be added.
I'd want something different, and would feel like Hive players will just go mad when they find, making a lot of calamity here. Sorry, it's a good idea, it just won't work.
It will work and not just HiveMC uses it. You got to understand that. HiveMC didn't make it. The plugin is PUBLIC meaning anyone can use it and it doesn't matter what others think Mineverse wouldn't simply copy Hive at all as it's PUBLIC meaning it's allowed for them to use it. HiveMC just made the plugin more popular so understand that.
And why would we care what people from that server think? They can stay there and cry all they want. This is a very popular game type and a very fun game type. I have played it many times and would love to see it incorporated to mineverse.
Exactly. Who cares? They are "Hive" players and go ahead and stay at hive if they want to cry. But if they want to play on a Active fun server the join the Mineverse.
