Giving up on mineverse

I've been playing mineverse for roughly 5 years now (and most of you will argue with me over that fact) But I have been playing on the server for a while I've made friends, I've helped others out with stuff I donted to the server, I mean I do a lot of stuff that no one notices and when i decided to try to do a little more everyone shoots me down as if i started yesterday and I don't know anything about the server or have any idea what im doing. So now I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like I should just give up on mineverse. Maybe its just me but I don't know :( Can anyone shed some light on this please what an i doing wrong?

I have been playing Mineverser since I was just a mere fetus back in 1943, and now I am just subjugated to communism.

I will argue the fact that you have been here for five years, as people have already said, Mineverse had its third birthday two months ago.

By "Helping out a little more", do you mean applying for mod? If so, you need to greatly increase your participation on the forums, become more well known. Sure you have good intentions for the server, but it takes much more then that to be moderator.

If you'd like, you could start a convo with me and I can help you through your rough patch and help you become ready for mod.

I hope you decide to stay. Mineverse can be a fun place if you let it. ;)

To me its not because I've been n minecraft since 7th grade (around 2011-2012) and now im a junior in highschool (2015-2016) so thats roughy 5 or so years and mineverse was the second server i ever played on.... minus the years I did single player cause i didnt know about multiplayer at the time so fine 3 year but i said 5 cause i didnt subtract the time i did sigle player only. -_- so to end the 5 year vs 3 year argument 3 years wins god not get off that topic it annoys the heck out of me :p

 

Honestly i think your the first person who i actully like on mineverse who i havent /friended yet xD Also when you said "By "Helping out a little more", yes i do mean applying for mod and thats what really makes me want to quit Mineverse.

 

You should never quit a server just because everyone hates you. You are always welcome to stay though. You should go to a server where you enjoy.
