Intro
I just want to say, that I do not want this thread to be rated, in any way shape or form. I am mainly making this thread to express my gratitude towards the owners, and do not want to be considered a thread maker, who only farms ratings. So do not rate, thanks.

I know the server will get a lot of these threads, yet I don't think many people who make these threads actually know the struggle it takes to make a successful server. I do.

I recently started owning/making a new server in my spare time, so I do legitimately know the struggle that these people go through to make servers like this. Infact, I had to close down my last server due to stress-related problems. So there is a hint to how hard it is to single-handedly, or even with two people to make and manage a fully fledged server.

Now my server only got 30 players max, and that is no Mineple*, but it's an achievement. And even with this small figure, the stress was unbearable. Managing a server with even 9 players is hard enough to keep track of what everyone is doing, and where they are, and make sure they're not trying to do something malicious. It's a nightmare if you have a low level of patience. (Luckily I have a lot).

Most people think that it is an easy job, like you can just type in 'start' or press a couple of clicks to make your own server, yet asides to that you have to make sure your donation software is running, you have to make sure all your ports, and network side of things are good, you have to make sure your security is tight, you have to make sure that the ranks and permissions are set up 100%, you have to make sure you don't use the wrong plugins, or everything can go wrong.

You have to make sure that your staff team is spick and span, or that could be the downfall to your server. You have to make sure you have a working, interactive website, and this took longer than it did to make the server for me. As you need to apply forum permissions, threads, make sure users are registered properly.

It's genuinely a very hard job, and I see why servers are being sold for numbers in triple digits.

Everything I have just mentioned is merely half the job of running a server...
... When you advertise, and start getting loads of users for the first time, you then have to cipher through them all and see who and who isn't reliable and trustworthy.
You need to ensure that there are no problems that occur, stamping on bugs as they rise, putting out fires as they start.

The work, stress and hard work is constant, as you have to keep everything updated, make sure your moderators read the right threads, make sure people know about the new updates, make sure people post threads, suggestions, applications, reports, bug exploits, and more in the right place. Make sure they are generally amused and happy to play on the server. You have to keep their imagination, their spark going!

So, for all those who think @Noobcrew and @CypriotMerks have easy jobs, they generally don't.
And, to those who constantly say 'Mineverse is dying' , and related, I would like to see you put in the work and dedication these two brilliant owners do. And they don't just own one server, but multiple. Multiple on the same network then they own .net and more...
Mineverse has 200 players on at any time, this is outstanding, and Mineverse is semi-maintained. So thank the owners, and realise the job they actually do before criticising the way the owners work, or the way Mineverse loses some players.

So, I would like to say to you @CypriotMerks and @Noobcrew , well done, keep up the good job and carry on maintaining a server, and not giving up on us ;) Outstanding job

Also, I forgot to mention in that thread that a lot of the time, the owners don't even get a chance to play their own server, as they're too busy updating it or fixing bugs, or adding new additions etc.
So when people say that the owners don't reply to them etc, and that they are bad for that, all they do is work for us. Nothing else, they work hard and constant for us, so WE can have a good time playing the server.
So in a way, they're always replying, always caring.
