Introduction Hello and welcome to my Mod Application! Most of you may know me as Caitlyn or KitKat. I have decided to give Mod a chance as I have watched the Mineverse community grow, and have learnt from my previous mistakes that I have made in the past. I can tell you all that I have matured a lot from what most of you have seen my a few months back. Before I start, I want to tell you a bit about myself, My name is Caitlyn and I live in Australia, I am 13 years old (I made a mistake whilst making my Forums account as it says I'm 15). I spend most of my time playing Infection, Creative, Skywars and sometimes OP PvP and Kit PvP. I have made a lot of really good friends in the time I have been playing Mineverse and I believe its time to apply for Mod. Lets Begin! :D How old are you? I am currently 13 years of age Born August 22, 2002 What's your in-game name? My current in-game name is Cxitlyn Some of my older names are xItzKitKatx or ImaKitKatx What timezone are you in? Australian Eastern Timezone (GMT +10:00) What country do you live in? I live in Australia. What languages do you speak? I speak fluent English. (And sarcasm) Do you have necessary needs of recording evidence? (e.g recording softwares, screenshots, etc.) Yes I do, To record I simply press Win+R which starts recording automatically. The recordings are very good quality and is easy to manage. To take a screenshot I press F2. This is important when reporting hackers, advertisers, spammers, etc. Why do you think you should become Mod? Since the beginning of this year, I have always wanted to help the server in some way, If it was Mod or Builder or some important role. I believe the server needs a few more active Mods that are on almost everyday, to help players across Mineverse. I have played Mineverse for around 2 years and Mineverse is my happy place. I have made a lot of friends on this server and they have always supported and helped me. I am very familiar with most Mod commands (/ban /kick /tempban /mute) which are very helpful when needed to deal with hackers, spammers, advertisers, etc. As most of you may know, you need a recording system to deal with players who break the rules. Some of the qualities that I have that I believe would make me a suitable moderator are listed below. Honesty As some of you may know already, I am a very honest person and I am never afraid to speak my mind. I will always give my peers 100% honesty and never lie to them. If I get asked a reasonable question, I will do my best to answer it honestly, and never lie even if I dislike a player. If I do have trouble answering any questions, I will ask other Moderators for help. Experience I haven't had much experience as a Moderator but I know roughly the Moderator qualities and the role of a Moderator. A couple of years back, I helped on a friends server but I believe this will be a lot different as Mineverse has a lot more players. I can assure all of you I am ready to Moderate Mineverse. Maturity The past two years since I have joined Mineverse I believe I have matured a lot. Around the start of this year I made a couple of mistakes which got me a ban. I realised that I did the wrong thing and I was being immature. I have learnt from these mistakes and I believe I have become a better person. Maturity is a big quality you need whilst moderating as no one wants an immature Mod complaining and being rude to players. Friendliness I am a very friendly and kind person. One of my favourite things about Minecraft and Mineverse is the people I get to meet and grow with. I am very open to people who need help, and I will always give my honest opinion. My friends on Mineverse are always supporting and inspiring me. They will give me advice to help me when I am in need, and I want to help others the same as they help me. I already do this, but I want to extend this to a higher level as a Moderator. Time Management/Active Not everyone is very organised for when they are active and when they aren't. But my time is very organised. I know when I'm going to be online and offline. Usually on weekends ill be on for a whole day unless I am out with my friends or family. On weekdays I have school so I will be online in the afternoon for 2-5 hours everyday. On holidays, I try my best to be online for at least 4 hours everyday. I am usually active everyday on Mineverse and Forums. I get on Mineverse Forums at least once a day to check my alerts. If I am not on Forums then I should be on Mineverse on Infection, if not then I am probably sleeping, with my friends and family or doing homework. Helpful If someone asks for help, I am more then happy to help them out in whatever way I possibly can. If someone asks me for anything, I will answer them honestly and try help them. I will kindly welcome new players to the server and help them any way possible. I can guarantee you I will be a very helpful Mod, and always be there for others. Hard Worker As I have stated a few times, I am online on Mineverse and Forums everyday (unless with family or doing homework) supporting, helping, building and having fun with my friends and other players, as a Mod its a big responsibility for me as I have to fit my daily activities like homework, chores, school and studying. As a Mod I won't let any of you down, and I know I'm ready to help Mineverse. Caring I have always played Mineverse with an open heart, and I am always they to help and care for players. I love helping players as it makes my day to know I helped someone in need for an honest answer/opinion. I don't know why but its just something about me that loves helping and being able to care for other people. I believe I can do this at a deeper level as a Moderator but I will never loose my love for the server and its players. As a Moderator I will always work hard keeping the Mineverse community happy whilst keeping an eye out for players breaking rules and keeping Mineverse a fun and happy place. I believe I have the right qualities to become a Mod for Mineverse. Supportive Being supportive to other people is a good thing as you can inspire and help them. All my friends and family will support me all the way, as I can do the same to other people on Mineverse. I support different people everyday to help them. To be a good role model I believe being supportive is a quality you need to have, same as being mature, kind and helpful. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Sunday - 4-9 hours Monday - 2-3 hours Tuesday - 2-3 hours Wednesday - 1-3 hours Thursday - 2-3 hours Friday - 2-6 hours Saturday - 4-10 hours How long have you been playing Mineverse? I have been playing Mineverse a little over 2 years, joined around July-August Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums and In-Game) Yes I have. I would like to give everyone an idea of why I was banned: Creative - Abusing Around the start of this year I received a temp-ban from Creative due to using inappropriate language towards another player as she was causing trouble and I tried to take it upon myself to deal with it, as this was a mistake. To the people that this affected, I would like to apologise for my past actions and I have definitely learnt from my mistakes. Lobby - Advertising Around the same time I got a temp-ban I got banned permanently from Mineverse as I advertised another server on Skyblock in chat to tell my friends, as I wasn't thinking and didn't realise I could be banned. When I realised I was banned I figured what a big mistake I made and what I could do to fix it. Merks, I'd like to apologise for my past actions as I regret the mistakes I made. I hope you can see that I have matured since then and that I'm ready to become a Moderator and help Mineverse. I have definitely learnt from my mistakes. No support. - Be more active on forums. - Get known to the community - It looks like you joined, then waited for your New Member tag to be removed, then immediately posted a couple of messages, and just created your App. - I don't think you're mature enough, though I understand that you may be more mature than before. - Overall, I think some other experienced and more prepared applicants would stand a better chance.\ Good luck.
I understand what you are saying, but I am more mature than I have been in the past, and I am starting to be more active on forums.
I have been active for the past two weeks and I will try to be on forums more often then I use to be. thank you for your comment x
