I was just recently banned on the mineverse forums for saying my opinion on a report. I was not involved with the report so they banned me for 1 day. I think the people should have a say on reports and ban appeals instead of just having the moderators say their opinion. And every single website that let's people talk is like the real world. So please consider a rule change. I would like to keep on commenting on other reports.

I want the rule to be changed, but in a fashion even darker than you'd want it. I want the punishment for a single post to be more severe. Think about it, this happens every day, yet all that happens is a warning. Most people tent to shrug it off, and continue. If we make it a more severe punishment, such as an immediate ban, people would be informed of this, and stop posting their say.

that's my mini-rant on this; but to supply an argument from your say, it's in the rules. If you don't follow them, it will be enforced as moderators have been trained to do so. While it may seem annoying, just leave it alone, and it won't hurt you. There's no excuse to posting there, with the exception of adding on, or being related to the conundrum. Live with it. Let Mineverse have it's restrictions for the better, as posting an opinion on a serious matter that could leave the person being reported banned (if this were a case in which the person actually didn't violate the rules, yet it seemed convincing), it could start an all-out flamewar between everybody sharing their peace of mind, the reported, and the reporter; don't want more weight on the moderators shoulders, correct?

We don't need users posting their thoughts about reports...

You sort of do because I commented on a report and the person who made the thread liked my idea.

But did staff appreciate it? I wouldn't think so.

I don't think that users need to post on others bans and what so ever. Its up to the moderators decision which no one could possible change. I don't really think why you would like to get involed in someone else's bans

I'm that kind of person who likes to help people. When I was in junior high the school put me in leadership. Leadership is when you are selected to be an example for other students and help them. We also had to try to stop bullying. This was 7 years ago but it stuck with me. I guess because the teachers said that it is a trait. And traits are with you forever.

Some don't and some do. Pile of butts doesn't like it because he/she banned me. And there was another moderator on a different report that agreed with what I said. So basically this website is like the real world. The moderators are congress and they are like republicans and democrats. And then noobcrew is the president.

Well, in your perspective i'm thinking that "Leadership" is what the moderators are doing correctly. If you would like to help staff with "Leadership," go forth and apply for moderator.

I don't think you can apply for moderator. I think it's earned.

You can apply for moderator. It is not earned.

I disagree with this, sorry. Yes, posting in ban appeals or reports when one has something related to the case that will aid the staff in sorting it out is necessary and helpful, a "support" or "good luck" won't get anyone anywhere and just creates spam. The staff know what they're doing, and they'll handle it, that's part of why they're promoted.
