They shouldn't, as most off-topic posts are/were games, such as "Count to 50 before a mod replies" or whatever. They are easily spammed, basically.

Pretty much.
If you were to participate in a game with the messages being counted,alot more people would have alot more trophies.

 

Off-topic messages tend to be really short and thus they don't really count. E.g. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.

 

Off Topic section = Spam Heaven

 

People could just post random junk and end up in like the most messages list ;-;
