Hey guys! So this year as you may know the staff team have been holding monthly competitions for the server and so far they have been going alright, but they could be better. So we would like everyone's opinions on the competitions so far and how you think they could be improved. Which comp would you like to be done next? How could we improve the comps? How have they been going so far? What kind of prizes would you like to see? (Be reasonable) If you could put your input on all of the above it would be great, we want to make the comps as fun as possible. What we have worked on so far: Something we have recently been working on is having an official team to run the comps every month so we have no confusion and every thing runs smoothly. The team will be incharge of: The rules Prizes Over seeing everything And a lot more. Maybe PvP team tournaments? Like, a group of players will join a group of a few people and fave other teams. But would we have a bunch of 1v1s or Team v. Team? Just a thought.
Possible competition ideas: Infection ROFLStomp Have players submit a video of them getting rofls, players with the most win. Creative pixel art contest Considering we just recently had a creative contest, I would expect this one to take place later. Anyways the title is pretty self explanatory; create a pixel art of whatever you'd like (or you guys could have a specific category), best one wins. Hellblock island level Have players submit a video, or full screenshot, of them executing the command /is level [their name]. Players with the highest island level win. Hunger Games Have a game of HG on a specified date in which players who signed up, can play. There could be a couple of different games, in which the winners of those will all play in another game to determine the winner. Or, just one game. (I may add more later)
A hunger games tournament, on the Mini-games section. Hardly anyone uses it so then that way it would actually have some use. It would just be some rounds, on each round a group from the same timezone would battle against each other. The person who wins that round gets a chance to claim some prize, or risk it all on another round against the winners who won in their group, and the prize would be bigger.
Skywars Just a copy of the February Competition. Bedwars Most kill and wins. GTA A race with minecarts; example: From point A to point B race with minecarts, first one to points B wins.
We have decided the April competition will be a 2v2 Pvp competition on Kit. We still would love to hear your ideas for a reference for future competition. More detail will arrive soon for next months comp. Thank you guys <3
Alright. I suggest that on probably kit... or op (it dosnt really matter) We have about.. I'd say 3 shooters and the rest runners and basiccly the shooters stand to the side and the runners have to get from point a to point b. Last person standing wins. Of course the runners have no armour and are 1 shot killable.
maybe a survival build battle? so like you yourself might try to build something amazing and since the judges are mods you can fly to have a view and look around the things (if granted permission by Cyp) maybe we could have like 1v1 and 2v2 or maybe a big team building.
