|KitKats Coming Out| (Inspired by OfficerWade)

Alright so lets get this straight, I'm not.

I kinda just wanted to share my experience with coming out to my parents and friends. The way I did it was interesting I suppose but lets go on with some backstory, shall we?
BACKSTORY WOOT WOOT
It all kind of started when I was put in kindergarten at a private daycare. I of course didn't know of the term 'gay' meant or there was even a word to describe my feelings. So I of course had to make up having crushes on guys during elementary school just to fit in because I wasn't sure if it was actually okay to feel this certain way.
Sooooo on comes the 5th and 6th grade. I knew what those terms meant and I accepted myself quite quickly. Cause I mean come onnn girls are hot.
Around the end of 6th grade I struggled w/ anxiety & some depression issues. I kept it to myself for awhile but broke and told my parents in a letter. They were super willing to help and now I'm with a doctor and counselor who have helped me become happier and seen the light of things I guess.
Does that make sense?
Onto how I came out to my parents
HOW I DID IT
Alright, so if you don't know what the pride flag is it is basically a flag (duh) that has 6 colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple) so I had this brilliant idea to bake a 6 layered cake (jesus christ) and each layer be one color of the pride flag. The top would say in purple icing 'I'm Gay'. So I did and made a mess in the process. It took about 2 hours and then I had to hide it in my room and wait till my mother got home from a business trip. So here comes Friday and my mom is home and its after dinner. I have my parents blindfolded at the dinner table and I open the lid i put over the cake to keep it fresh. I ask them to take their blind folds off and the reaction was mixed. My mom gasped and my dad was look 'ooooh <:'. They were both super accepted of this which made me beyond happy.
PRESENT TIME
Only my parents know I like girls and most of my friends do as well. I don't know when I will tell my dads side of this family because they're super religious so I'm not sure but they're family and I'll love them no matter what and will choose to tell them at the correct time
Right now I am single as a pringle and crushing on this angel.
