I believe there should be a page detailing what mods are allowed to do, and what they cannot do. Recently, with all the new mods being added to the staff team, mods don't seem to know what is allowed. For example, almost every day we have mods (new and old ones) acting like they don't know they aren't allowed to force tp to another person. (this happens on skyblock daily). This would benefit mods, and players. Players would also know when mods are abusing their powers.

I also see on mod applications, that people are neutral, and even put no support on an application, simply because they don't like the colors they chose to put in the application.
Is that really a valid reason to give no support to someone?

I believe that mods should be active on ALL servers before becoming a mod. This is not an easy thing to do. I liked it back when there were no global mods, but only mods for certain parts of the server. The reason being, we will have 10 mods on at a time, ONLY in pvp gamemodes. Other games need moderating as well, which isn't getting done with the current setup.

As you may notice, I am not active on the forums much, but I am extremely active in game, namely just 1-2 gamemodes, but I do care about the server, and with the irresponsible children that are moderating the server lately, it is going downhill.

Let me know what you guys think about mods and the sort.

I have been told to report a mod if I feel they are abusing his/her powers. Would this be taken seriously without proof? Recording 24/7 to get proof of mod abuse doesn't sound reasonable to me.

Just today I have seen the new mods break several of these rules. I recommend that this page actually gets read by them.

Its hard to catch a mod in the act of abusing a powers without recording 24/7 you know

A screenshot wouldn't tell you if one is in /god.
A screenshot wouldn't tell you if they forced tp to me.
I can't screenshot a mod in /vanish.

If they are in god abusing, you can record them.
If they forced tp that's hard.
Mods don't have vanish.

 

The only time I could see force tp being a huge deal is on OpFactions, Factions, PvP game-modes.
I don't think such things would be an issue on Skyblock?
I don't know, things change quickly within the staff, so I'm not up to date.

No, mod is a rank. The mod rank have /vanish deactivated.

 

Not on all game modes, I've seen Titan moderators use it.

There was a mod in vanish earlier today.

 

Some mods do have /vanish due to the way CypriotMerkz promotes them.
Some Moderators do get to keep their previous donation rank commands.
