I am wasting my time with pathetic things like this:

But spectate doesn't affect gameplay, no? It just allows people to see others playing. A lot of other servers have this enabled after death, such as in our minigames. If mods are allowed to /spec, they can track down some "hackers" without them seeing the mods.

 

Doesn't this belong in the 'Rant' area of the forums? Just asking ;l
