Greetings my friends! My in game name is RoyalBlueRanger and I have been active on MineVerse a little over two weeks now. I have been playing exclusively in Factions and generally for many hours late at night in my part of the real world. I really love to explore, mine, and build! I do not generally like to fight and have yet to pvp; which makes a ton of sense as to why I’m playing on a factions server, right?! XD I’m loyal to my boss and leader FlyingHorseRider and our new faction Rangers. My loyalty to Horse spans well over a decade so I will never betray Horse and I will always support all that they do. Horse generously made me an officer of our faction and gave me a title of General. Personally I think it was a joke but it may be suitable since I like to think strategically and plan complex actions. Never the less, the title does embarrass me. :| Time will tell as we transition over to pvp… If you have seen me online and have ever tried to get my attention in chat I apologize. Most of the time I’ve been way too busy to try to follow the chat and so it is easy to miss anything directed to myself. Over the last two weeks I have gone on two different epic adventures to just explore what’s out there. Although I have only explored a very small percentage of the over-world I’ve been impressed and learned so much from all of the monuments that I have explored. It amazes me the amount of time that people have put in to building and also in to destroying and what generally remains is just a tattered shadow of its glorious days of past. I also find these ruins terribly sad because the people are gone and untold hours are lost to time with no record as to who they were or the joys or sorrows that they experienced within those structures. These ruins have inspired me and I want to spend some time in the near future and document them on my blog. I’ve seen some really awesome and inspiring structures that upon first discovery I had no idea of the nature of their design. One was just mind boggling and just simply beautiful beyond description and has motivated me to personally try to build something bigger and more functional (more effective). XD Currently my focus is on building our fortress and the infrastructures to support our faction members. I’ve built secured farms for crops (sugar canes, potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, and melons) and they are producing at high and sustainable rate. I’m also working on building a secured farm to ensure we have plenty of livestock, but it appears like they need to be name-tagged to prevent despawning. We don’t want food to ever be an issue for our faction members so having a secured supply is very important to us. XD For the last week+ I’ve been longing to figure out how to transport a mooshroom over 4,000+ meters and across a couple of massive seas. I’ve considered using the neather for transport but that would be crazy at best. Too bad they cannot ride in boats. XD I’ve also taken on a large building project on my own which involves a massive amount of lava. I caught myself on fire about 2 or 3 times and I even went swimming in lava briefly too. Luckily I have survived but it still makes me nervous as I’m draining lava pools to hear skeletons or zombies in the area. So far I’ve drained about three large lava pools; I never thought some would be so deep! I do hope I can get this completed in the next week or two so I can move on to mining and building other infrastructure and defensive items. In closing, I really enjoy the factions server and there is a lot of exciting adventures to come. Soon I’m going to need to more fully embrace the pvp aspect and focus on building up our faction. Hints and suggestions fully welcomed! XD Peace! Yeah even to everyone within the factions server too! XD RoyalBlueRanger
Thanks so much for the warm welcomes! I appreciate them! I'm in a good mood right now... I just placed my last bucket of lava in my "project"! That makes just about 1,656 of them! Now to on to excavating and putting on the final touches which I suspect will take about 2 weeks before I can enjoy the final end product... Yeah... building is fun; catching yourself on fire is not. Elrak: I'll look forward to that. Right now I'm trying to keep out of the way of a stray swords and axes since I'm trying to level up to 100+ to see what kind of luck I have with enchanting. But if there is ever anything I can help with just let me know and I'd be happy to help. I love to give away items... perhaps an enchanted book or two may be a nice edition to your "library"? Inefable & DeltaMC: Thanks! I sure will...
