Yes, your rank will stay with you. But just remove your plots in creative, remove all the signs in all the gamemodes you play. Just so you don't lose anything.

Yes, but a few things will be messed up.
- Creative plots
- signs on surviva;, op prison, skyblock etc

So I suggest you dispose and reclaim your plots after your name change, and remove the signs and put them back on when changed.
