Hello!First off, I want to thank you for taking your time to read my application. I would also like to give a little backstory to me and why I want to become a moderator in the first place. So I'm Marcore, my real name's Marcus and I was raised by my mother and my 2 brothers. We've lived in New South Wales for a while now but just 3 years ago I moved up to the border. My house is technically in Queensland but I do everything in NSW because it is closer (I can literally walk up my driveway and cross the border). I am actually a pretty quirky person, but when it comes down to it, people don't realise that I can actually be serious. I've always wanted to be a moderator on Mineverse, since the day I joined. The community was beautiful, the people were lovely and everything was just perfect. But recently, things have been changing. Without a good enough anticheat to automatically kick hackers, and not enough staff, I thought I would step up and apply. I would love to help out the community, in any way possible. Now to the application itself. How Old Are You?Right now I am 14 years old, and I will be turning 15 on the 24th of November. I was born in Mater Mother's Hospital up in Brisbane, at 11:43 p.m or somewhere around that. This was only 4 years after my brothers! So close! I am located in the Eastern Australian Zone (EST). What Country do You Live In? I live in Australia. I don't plan on moving anywhere anytime in the future. What Languages do You Speak?Unfortunately as of now I can only speak English. But I was hoping that sometime in the next few years I could start learning a new language. Do You Have Necessary Means of Capturing Evidence? I do have Bandicam, which I occasionally use to record hackers etc. I don't use it as often as I'd like. As uploading them to youtube takes a long time. Because of my internet's constant slow speed. I also use in-game screenshots to catch fly hackers, scamming, advertising and anything like that. Why do You Think You Should Become a Moderator?I have many reasons as to why I wish to become a moderator. Most of which are comprised around the fact that I want to serve the community and help the server grow in any way that I possibly can. I would try my best to communicate with both staff and player so I could reach my full potential as a moderator. After having "Moderated" on a few other servers, I think it is time I stepped up to staff on a larger scale server. Having been here within the community for a long time now, (back to the ice lobby) I am really starting to know the server well. Throughout my time here I have tried my best to help players in any way, shape or form and exerted myself to make sure players were happy playing. Not only am I experienced but I am responsible enough to know the difference between power abuse, and moderating. Below are a few traits: MatureAlthough I can be a rather immature person at times, I know how to handle the situation in a serious manner, and to at the same time be respectful to the said player in question. I understand what it takes to become a moderator and I am willing to undergo this and become as mature a person as possible so I make no mistake in my moderating career. ActiveI am a generally active player, coming on at least twice a day to see what's happening in game, and I try my best to become active on the forums and make sure I am up to date with all the latest events. Being an active player, especially on PVP servers, means that I am there to ban players who are hacking/scamming/advertising etc. Being an active staff member also means that the players know that I am there to help if they need me, and I can, in hopes, earn their gratitude and respect in return for my assistance. IntelligentI am a fairly intellectually gifted person, I have been doing higher course studies even as a year 9 student. Which means I would be able to solve most problems quickly and with almost no hesitation. My grammar and spelling are also much higher than the average person, so I make little to no mistakes with my punctuation and spelling. Other than the occasional misplaced or forgotten full-stop/apostrophe. AwareI am normally pretty aware, I'm not known to be that oblivious to the situation. And if I notice an argument or fight uprising, I will be pretty quick to respond and react to the event. And I generally read the chat or forums messages I receive so I can always see what's happening. Fast-TyperComing in at 77 Words per minute means that I can type fairly fast, which means I can respond quickly and reply to multiple messages and requests quickly. I am apt and ready to learn, and I would love to have some mentors or something along those lines. How Long Can You be Active Daily? In-game: Sunday - 4-10 hours Monday - 1-5 hours Tuesday - 2-5 hours Wednesday - 1-3 hours Thursday - 4-7 hours Friday - 4-12 hours Saturday - 3-15 hours How Long Have You Been Playing Mineverse? I've been playing mineverse since a bit after the first lobby and since then I have tried my hardest to become an active member of the community. Have you ever been banned? I have never been banned and nor do I hope to be. Any Past Experience as a Moderator? I had been staff on a few servers a while back, these servers were very, very small, and were owned by my mates and I. These small servers had 50-100 people a day and had helped become a more friendly player and thanks to these servers I am able to help people the way I do now. To Conclude I would like to thank all of the staff members who have made this server possible to play on, and the players and friends who have stood by my side as the server has grown. Also, a shout out to my mate Max (Skoony/Highwun/Wolffehhh/Wqlf_) as he just got builder, but he can't get the tag until there is a free space in the team.
