Introduction Hello my name is jtbrothers and I have started playing on the summer of 2013. I have loved Mineverse because of the way the whole entire process worked. The moderators would basically "run" the server while the main administrator was gone. The players would have fun on the server, and I just realized "what if I could be a part of this?". So I have decided to write my 3rd and final moderator application. This application will be "layback" by which I mean I won't lie like the two applications. (P.S. the only reason I lied is because I don't want a 40 year old to kidnap me) But the chance of that happening is highly absurd so I am just going to be full on honest in this application and hopefully some members get to know me better through this. I appreciate any feedback in the comments and other than that let's get started! :D How old are you? I am 14 years old. I understand it is a fairly young age to moderate a server and handle such a huge responsibility, but I feel somewhat mature enough to take this job. Your in-game name? My in-game name is "JTBROTHERS" but most people do not like the caps so I am planning to change it back to jtbrothers soon. What timezone are you in? I am in the Pacific Time Zone. What country do you live in? I live in the USA. What languages do you speak? I speak English and little learning Spanish in school. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) On the Mac, i have Quick Time Player which can record videos and I usually record every time I go on so I can catch if someone hacks without having to rush to record. Most of the time the videos get too long so I edit it on iMovie and upload it on my YouTube channel (jt brothers). I also have a command on my laptop that lets me screenshot so I can put a link on it and send it for evidence. Why do you think you should become a mod? Friendly Throughout the past years that I have been on Mineverse I got to become a friendlier person and very easy to talk to. Many of my friends have "problems" that they go through in real life and they always confront me to talk with them and I am always glad to help. I feel like I am a fun to be around person and although I had been through several problems with some players and know how it feels like to be dumped and betrayed so I can easily relate. When anyone even people I don't know ask me for help I am always willing to be their guide. Knowledge I have a lot of knowledge about the server itself and what it is like to be a mod, because I have made many relations with several moderators around the server and they are not like the normal players of Mineverse and have higher standards. I also know the various commands essential for every Moderator to know such as: /mute [player] /unban [player] /tempban [player] [time] /kick [player] [reason] /fly /ban [player] [reason] appeal @Mineverse.com ~JT I also know the main rules of the server and know when a player is disobeying the rules and know what ban/punishment they receive and for how long. Tough I can be friendly, but at times I can be tough and if a player isn't following the rules I would try to get the evidence to report them. Players often bribe me that they would give me all their prison money or whatever they make up but I think that will lead to a major problem in the way that the server will "function". Also, I have dealt with a ton of stress because of school work and other things and know how to cope with stress. So if a player is saying rude comments to me I can easily deal with it because I dealt with a lot of hate long time ago. Hard-Working Being a moderator, I believe that you work hard and play hard. Therefore when I come on Mineverse to play I stay on the lookout for anyone hacking or disobeying the rules and at the same time be able to enjoy what I am doing. I love the feeling of having hard work pay off and I know for sure that it does pay off so I always try with my fullest potential. Mature Often on Mineverse I have been very rude and mean I admit myself that I was a pain in the butt. But I know what being mature can do for me and other players. Throughout the years I have become more mature and got to meet many new people because of my personality. I think that it needs a little more work but when I am around more mature people I believe it will be fixed. Accurate So I have been told by many people that I type extremely fast and by "extremely" I mean 133 words per minute. Although I type that fast, it does not make any connection with the text on chat because it is basically like (u r gr8) and other simplified words. I have spend over a month trying to fix this problem and I have finally done it and now use capitalization and punctuation marks to bring out a better sense of maturity. Determined When players request for something such as recording a hacker I will turn my recording software on and immediately go chasing after the hacker. I have put a lot of "sacrifice" into helping hackers get banned and teaching the new players the rules but honestly I do not think it is a sacrifice because I am determined to make Mineverse a happy environment to be around. I want to help teach other players to be as determined to everyone they meet too. Helpful I usually spend a fair amount of time on the Help section of Forums. I have decent/average knowledge about the server and try to help with my full potential about everything I can think of. In game I often get questions because of my rank and players get the general opinion I have a lot of experience with the server and I am glad to help them. Although I do not know all the rules yet I will keep learning and be capable of explaining hard concepts. ALERT To all those people who hate me with all their hearts and kill me every single round or just does not like me; I'd like to say I am sorry. I have probably been immature and rude but I wish to apologize for I promise to you I will and have turned into my old self when I was nice and mature enough. I deeply apologize for all the immaturity and hope that you do not base me off of that; for a good friend told me to "Forgive and forget" as a meaning to not be so stuck up in the past and just forgive them and see them as what they are now. I am so sorry to all those people I treated like they were nothing to me because all of you even if I do not know you deeply matter inside my soul. <3 How long can you be active on the server everyday? Sunday: 7 hours or more Monday: About 3 hours Tuesday: About 4 hours Wednesday: About 4 hours Thursday: About 5 hours Friday: About 4 hours Saturday: 8 hours or more Forums Weekdays: All day if I got no homework (11 hours?) Weekends: All day Just as a reminder, these times obviously do change and on the weekdays I try to fit as much time to play but I have school work and school for me is 8 hours so the day is almost over. I try to play for at least 3 hours at night but sometimes if I am really busy I might not be able to achieve these times. How long have you been playing Mineverse? I know for sure it was the month of July but the year always gets me confused. I believe it was 2013 but some members said Mineverse wasn't even there at the time. So it was 2013 or 2014 but I always get confused. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) I have never been banned on Forums. But I have been banned on the server for these following reasons. The first time was hacks, which I do deeply apologize for I should've not hacked in the first place and deleted my client immediately after I saw the note. I was banned by SSMH who later I went to and apologized for my immaturity in-game to use a hacked client. The second time was a false ban for the moderator accidentally banned me instead of the person I was reporting. The third time was because I bow spammed. I didn't really understand the concept of bow spam for I thought it was suiciding constantly. So I got banned and am currently appealing. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes I have been a moderator on two very small servers and it was a fun experience and I'd love to do it again. Also I talk to a decent amount of mods, I think about 9 but I am friends with them and being with them taught me a lot about what they do and how they help the server. I know that it is a lot but I was trying to put as many details as I could. I'm going to stay neutral, leaning into support. You seem to be very friendly, but I have not seen you in-game. As stated above, you should join the other game modes.~Other than that, there are a few grammar mistakes here and there. Good luck.~c=
Thank you I will try to find for the grammar mistakes and edit them. As for the game modes I am working on joining other game modes to meet new people. If you want to see me though, I will most likely be on Infection! :D
Of course.~ Well, I'm mostly on Survival, sometimes Infection. I could maybe help you meet some people on Survival, if you want, when I stop playing with my brother? I'm on the Xbox with him at the moment, so. I'm actually not sure, tbh. I'm usually busy when I'm on, since I'm a Titan, enchanting and talking about in the chat. Maybe I didn't notice your user? No Support. Putting aside we are friends, I do not mean to offence you though this. You haven't been very active and I hardly ever see you online, you must also be online ever Mineverse game modes since all promotes are for global. You've been quite immature at times and even though you can be doubtlessly kind, you might be rude a bit at certain times. I also don't see you on the forums, you're never commenting on posts. You have under 80 messages, and under 10 positive ratings, I can't see you becoming mod soon like this. You're a great candidate for this position but I don't know if this is the right time.
