Moderator Applying Waiting Time

As we all know, many players are attempting moderator. Applications are being randomly made every day. People also make alternate forum accounts in order to "increase" their chances, although they are mostly caught and banned. This suggestion is to add a short waiting period until players can apply for Moderator. This may not be agreeable throughout all players, but honestly, people are just making applications that produce hate. If we had a waiting period, whether you're a very likable player in game or not, it will increase a players' chances. Benefiting the player. But if the player is intelligent enough, they could take that time to learn the forums and what is necessary to a Mod application. I'm not guaranteeing this will work, but this is just a suggestion. I hope we can eventually come up with a way to prevent players from applying the day or week they join, for it mainly produces hate from immature players.

Improve what? I completely disagree with the idea. I believe people should be allowed to apply whenever they feel like doing so.

What do you mean on that last part? This being implemented to prevent players from immediately applying after joining.

 

Yes, which is why a waiting period could help out just a little bit. Even a little may help, but I'm not the person that supports or doesn't. ;]

 

Support, I think that there should be maybe a week or possibly even longer waiting period. The reason I agree is because a lot of people apply there first day and well I will be honest. They are generally shot down and don't receive an supports or anything. This can discourage them from ever trying again and then boom we could be short one person who could have ended up being a great mod. While on the other hand if we had a waiting time. This would force players to learn the forums and then know what a moderator application should look like and how much info they should put and so on.

I think players should get to apply whenever they like, it would be smart for them to wait though there shouldn't be a rule for them to wait.
