PoolSideBanana's Moderator Application: A little bit about myself: So, to start out this application, I am currently 14 years old and will be turning 15 soon (June 27). I am a always sure to be respectful and well-behaved around family, friends, adults, and elders. I was born in the Philippines back in 2001, I lived there for about 3 months as a baby. After I turned 3 months old, I moved to Arizona and lived there for 10 years. During our 10th, or last year in Arizona my dad was having trouble making money, so we moved to China for about 3 months. We did not make a good choice moving to China, Rather than making money, we lost a lot. Since we were having trouble making a living in China, we moved back to the United States, to the state of Oregon Where we lived with my grandpa's family for about 1 year before moving into our own house in Ontario. I am currently attending high school in Ontario, specifically the 9th grade. How old are you? I am currently 14 years old, I will soon be turning 15 (June 27). I currently am located in Ontario Oregon. I have grown up playing "Minecraft" for most of my life, so I know a fair amount about the physics and how this game works. I am online when most players are, so this will give me and the other moderators more of a chance to interact and provide help for any problems/ misconceptions they have about other players and/or moderators. What country do you live in? United States. What languages do you speak? I speak English, I am current taking 2 years of Spanish. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? I do have 2 programs to record evidence, iShowUHD and QuickTimePlayer (Built in recording soft ware). I can upload screenshots to Imagur. Why do you think you should become a mod? I should become a mod because, I have been playing on this server for a year and a half now. I have matured over this year and have had my experiences with hackers. Experience includes, "kill aura, flying, etc.." I am sure I will run into more problems other than hacking, but I am a quick thinker and I am sure I will find a fair and respectful way to solve them. I will take full responsibility for my actions, and work past any misconceptions people may have about me as a player and/or Moderator. Kind: If you get to know me, I try my best to be kind and respectful to other players and server moderators. Quick Thinking: I am a quick thinker, I work hard and fast to solve any problems or advice a player may have, or need help with. Active: I am very active on this server, I am on almost every day 5-6 hours which will give me more time to monitor other players and get to know them! Focussed: I will do my best to observe and listen to the needs of the Mineverse community. Hobbies: I like to draw, go to the gym, and skateboard. I try to balance out time for games/ school work with time to be active and stay healthy. Humorous: There is a time for work and a time for fun. I try my best to balance them both out evenly. I am a funny guy when you get to know me, but I can also be serious. Helpful: In game, there are constantly new people joining our community and, I have had much experience with this server over 1 1/2 years of playing on it. I would be happy to explain or solve any problems new players may have in game. Prepared: I am prepared for any problems a player and/or mod may have. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I can be active mostly everyday, when I am home from school or on weekends. I may mostly be active 5-6 hours a day, I will try my hardest to keep a watchful eye out on every server for as long as possible! How long have you been playing Mineverse? I have currently been playing mineverse for 1 year and a half. Over this year I have had many encounters with hackers and have had them banned on several servers, including, "prison and Op PvP". Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) I have been banned on prison and op pvp for "Mute Evading, by using the command known as /minecraft:me or /me". I am still currently banned on Op Factions but I plan to change that in the future. These bans took place about 8 or 9 months ago, but I have had time to mature and know that what I did was against the rules. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I have never had experience as a Moderator, but I would like to slowly progress and keep an eye out on this this community to make it as safe and fair as possible!
