They have different IP's, again, I cannot really answer on their behalf. Plus, I'm not really clued up on how Minecraft hosting actually works.

There are certain options that can be set up, that send you certain places. Not entirely sure how Mineverse have done it, as they don't have a sub-domain pointing anywhere.

That is most likely why it pings in Germany. It will be the hosts DDoS protection.

I don't lag, the host they're using now's perfect for me. No support.

 

It's not that simple to just change the host, atleast I don't think it is.
Don't make this kind of thread because it isn't just the server that lags, your pc could have issues your internet could be bad.
Lots of things cause lag.

 

It's due to the fact he's from the UK. Similar to me, I get a ping ping to Mineverse.

 

For me lag is not a problem, the hit detection is what's really bad.

 

If you are a longer distance away from where the server is hosted, obviously you are going to get a higher ping
unless you have some ultra uber goober internet.
