Hey, I think the Mineverse Host should be changed ASAP, as many of you know, Mineverse is not the best when it comes to playing without lag, I rarely have five bars of connection, 99 percent of the time its three or four. I thought It would be a good Idea to change to a host which is more reliable, although I don't know what the current host is.
What you have to realise when it comes to hosting, is that they will choose a host that is more nearby there larger player base. Mineverse is hosted somewhere in the Western US. That allows most of the US to enjoy a good ping, while people living in the UK, Australia, etc will only maximize and gain a 4 bar, achieving at best around 151-200 ping.
That would mainly have to do with their ISP then, and to where they are actually pinging from. Similar to that, where I currently live, depending on the time of day, I can ping to up to 5 different places daily.
the server isn't lagging that bad, the only gamemode that are lagging are prison and factions where people afk all day at their grinder and it makes the server lag and even if they get a better host it wont change anything
No Support: Although there is lag, I don't think you understand how long it would take to transfer a fully fledged network server, and, doing it without loosing any players. I feel the hosting company needs to be talked to, or upgraded to deal with Mineverse's lag problem. I don't think a all - out host transfer is exactly necessary.
I think the host is fine it is just the ping I get lag a fair bit as well but it isn't because of the server. It is because it is largely based in the US
Noobcrew stated himself it's hosted in Western US. If it were hosted in Germany, I'd have around 60-80 ping, on average.
I don't think they have the same host on Teamspeak as they do for the actual server :P It's also possible that whoever is hosting the Minecraft server makes it seem as if they are within Germany. That is possible to do. Though, I'm quite certain it's hosted within Western Australia. (Mods can back me up, as I'm pretty sure when he stated this we were all in a very large bedwars game with him).
