I understand why some staff members wish to have their profiles private, but it does make it a lot harder to ask for quick help, or just to say hello. Like what @Mvdi said, staff members sign up to help the community, and not everyone on the forums easily knows how to start a conversation. If it's a privacy matter, then what is it that needs to be so private? We're a close minecraft community, and the staff team do a great job of ensuring everything runs smoothly. Support.
Why should the reason matter? It's their right just as it is your own. This thread is just ugh... I have already stated hardly any mods have their profiles set to the people they follow. It's like 1/8 of the entire staff team. Why is this such a big deal? Guaranteed if I wasn't one of the 3-4 staff that have their profile set to private there would be no thread here. I'm allowed to have my privacy Madi. Sorry you can't stalk my profile anymore. :/ I help players all day. It's all I do here. Please don't try and say this is about me not helping.
:( It's understandable now, and just because profiles are set to private doesn't mean it's the end of the world. A conversation is just a little trickier to start, yet as you say - a lot of the staff members have profiles unlocked, so a player in need of help, could just go to an unlocked profile.
Alright well this thread wasn't directed at you so I don't know why you feel like it was. I don't care to stalk your profile. lmao I also never said that you didn't help, all I said was that it's easier to help if players have easy access to your profile, so if you could stop twisting my words that would be fantastic.
Why shouldn't it No one is saying you don't, your work is greatly appreciated You are probably thinking this thread is directed towards you, I'm not going to reply to further responses for the fear of a war.
The reason shouldn't matter because profile privacy is an option all member have. Why should a mods privacy be any different?
