Neutral. It would be a struggle for new members, but Staff also have Privacy rights, and they don't want their profiles rate abused

I don't think they would have signed up for hate on their profile pages. That's just the start. Like @Pile_of_Butts said theres bullying, trolling, rate abuse, name calling and more! Mods sign up to help improve the server not to take hate. Please fully understand the importance and role of a mod. @Pile_of_Butts that's where you're wrong about your privacy. No one has to earn privacy they have the right as a player and as a mod to keep their profiles private. As you have said people may be bullying or spamming at the end of the day they've still said it and that is why it is important to keep have people's profiles private if they wish.
Neural. its quite simple to find where the messages are, I'm sure new players won't have much trouble finding it.
If we want to lock our profiles we have the right to lock our profiles, I'm not going to lock my profile but if other mods wish to lock theirs they have every right to do so.
I have already created a conversation with every staff member and they agreed to unlock them. If they still have them locked then they obviously have a reason. They can be contacted thru conversations still.
Stating that because we are staff we should not be able to lock our profiles if we choose is silly. Then suggesting that because we apply for staff we couldn't receive "likes" on our profiles is outrageous. My profile is set to the people I follow and I don't get likes because over half the people I follow are members who are no longer here. It's not about the ratings. It's about my personal privacy. This entire thread is appalling. We are members like yourselves. We deserve the same freedoms

Okay so maybe they do deserve privacy, they are kinda like us tbh. But there needs to be like a shout box or something on the front of the forum page for new players to ask questions instead of waiting to figure out how to start convos and make threads
We are not just talking about you. Alot of staff have locked their profile because of the rate abuse, and rate abuse does not have anything to do with privacy.
