After what has happened to some people, I think this would really help. It may not be fool-proof, but it's better than nothing. I do think we should also tackle moderator applications. It should be that only Members and above can apply for moderator.

If someone who is new applies for moderator, the likeliness of them actually getting mod by being accepted by Cyp is very unlikely. If Cyp promotes a new member, then they obviously deserve it in his eyes.

Them putting up an application isn't really affecting you, so what's the point in preventing it?
