Hello everyone. Recently I have seen many people complaining about how old the lobby is and that it needs new improvement. I agree with them. I suggest that we host a competition seeing who can make the best creation for the lobby. The winner would receive a donation rank (or a rank up from what they currently are). The winner would also have their head featured in the lobby to thank him/her for taking the time to build such an amazing creation. The lobby shouldn't be set as a certain theme. It should be abstract and different from all other servers. Please comment below your opinion about this so we can get the attention of high ranking Staff to approve.
I agree with this 100%. I made a paragraph as to why we need one, mainly focusing on criticizing the current lobby, and a proposal on how to approach this in an intuitive manner. I think I'd participate in this competition when it's publicized as official, however, that also means I'll have to lay off Project Determination, unfortunately, trying to figure out how I'd work all my IRL work, project determination, and this build contest all at once.
Well, that is an AWESOME build you have, but I don't really see a need of a new spawn to be honest. It only provided work from you and the only thing people do is run to the closest gamemode they can go to or don't move at all and use the portal. I do support this idea. I just don't see a huge reason for it to be done.
I understand what you're coming from, but a new lobby will spice up the server and prove how creative it's members + staff are.
I agree. The spawn lobby is like the "First Impression" of the server. That is why I supported. Coming from a server owner though, I don't think it is NEEDED as of right now.
well the server's spawn is old, but i dont think the winner should get a donation rank. they should just get like a 50$ buycraft gift voucher for mineverse .
I love having the lobby in the end, I think it gives off a different vibe than the other normal daytime/nighttime servers. I definitely agree though, and I hope that the portals aren't lava so we won't be burning trying to get into our gamemode. Lol [Edit] Although people may disagree, I dislike big large spawns that have unnecessary things. However Ninja that is an amazing build :> Anyway, it feels more organized I guess you could say to have a small spawn, the spawn now doesn't really get crowded except for near the spawn area, no one is really looking around to find the portals.
You should seperate it so it says Owner: Noobcrew Co-Owner: CypriotMerks Moderators: Guards: Something like that.
