And a server restart gets in the way as well. At least you would get a warning...I hate to think what happens if I destroyed a block holding water back right before restart and destroying my redstone...

all the big servers restart on you. all give a simple message in chat. why should we enable command blocks to make a command that pops on the screen when we could just leave it as it is.

I'm pretty sure that if you disable chat, the screen pop-up alerts get hidden as well. Correct me if I'm wrong?
