Imo, it depends on how long they served. If they served for 3 days then got demoted for abuse, then no they shouldn't. If they served for a year, and was a good mod, then sure they deserve credit.
what if u served for a month, had one false staff report, and got demoted bc the head mod didn't like u
Wasn't demoted Thank you though, means a lot. Now, for my say in this. I never expected, when applying for mod to gain a rank upgrade, or any other special tag, besides the "Mod" tag. Yet, with saying that, a forum tag would allow people to know and recognise people whom have previously/still are a moderator. Maybe make the tag come alongside the trophy you gain when getting the rank? Two perfectly acceptable tags right there. I also want to add, maybe since the commotion about mods only being there for a short time, make it a chosen rank, by the mods themselves? Or even just the head-mods.
ex mod should be for those who r demoted retired mod should be those who resigned Just because you got demoted doesn't or didn't make you a bad mod some of the past moderators got demoted and they were really really good
What if you were trying to help someone on factions but then they tricked you and false reported you for "abusing"
I was demoted for no other reason other than the fact that one mod didn't like me. Does that mean my work on here would go unrecognized? Edit: this person wasn't even a head mod. Anyways, neutral.
Rest in pieces <3 Exactly. I guess if this were to be implemented, there would have to be some sort of confirmation, from the higher up mods (Head-mods). This would also have to go into more discussion, especially with Pile and Cyp.
Maybe by clicking on someone's profile, there could be a little note that tells you they used to be a staff member? I don't support for having a tag. For the upgrade - I don't see why not.
They may have been demoted, but they still helped out or tried to help out. Helping the server in anyway shows something.
I don't think a free rank on the server but maybe a "Retired Staff" rank on the forums for those who resign only.
