Creative water and lava

I asked one of the mods why we can't use water and lava. They replied "They cause lag" then why not get a better system for the plot world so that the people making stuff for the server/making ideas for them can use water. What's the point of having a creative server if the most people can't use what they need to. I think we should be able to use water and lava because it could enhance our builds. I don't see any other reason other than the apparent "Lag" not to have it back. The creative world is already laggy with out it, it doesn't matter. I don't think its fair really what about you guys?

It doesn't matter. Some people want flowing water and flowing lava.

The water/lava was disabled because people were abusing with it, its not that hard to go on someones plot that they added you to and lag them out completely.

 

Thats not not fair though, Yeah some people abuse, but what about the ones that don't. Your punishing them for what other do and that's not right. Think about it this way what if I gave you and your friend something but your friend abused the thing I gave her so I took her thing away and yours. That's saying I don't trust you. So do you think that's fair when the server does it? Also no matter what you do, when some people go to someone's plot they crash sometimes so what's the point or restrictions to our builds when that happens? When you go on other server do you ever go to creative and if so do they have any restrictions?

 

Then those who don't will suffer. Sometimes stuff like this happens, say a group needs to have something done by a deadline, everyone else in that group except you are ready then the others will suffer as well as you. Since some can't behave with the water and lava, everyone will suffer. That won't change for a while.

Oh and what about other servers. Will bedwars remove beds because people abuse the that? In prison will they take away the prison because they can escape? Factions will they take away tnt because it causes lag? No, what is the point of having a creative server IF YOU CANNOT BUILD WITH WHAT YOU WANT TO. What, when we need water we have to call a mod? If any mods aren't on? Everything causes lag. Everything crashes everyone abuses on all game modes in mineverse I don't see the other game mode's having restrictions do you?

 

I agree water and lava should be placeable again. A solution should be found to the ways in which they can be abused.

 

Support, you can only get lava or water with WorldEdit or some luck but it's getting annoying that it never works.

 

There are only a few things that are missing from the Creative menu. Things have gone along fine without water and lava. All they really ever did was cause lag and be abuse imo.

 

Well even with world edit now you can't get water or lava wo they took that away completely. The only way to get water is with ice. Honestly Valor, like I said before on factions would they remove tnt because it lags the server? Or with bedwars would they take away the beds so people can't abuse that by placing a block constantly and saying they broke a bed?

 

Water and lava is very important in builds.

 

Also Val let me ask you, have you ever once been on the creative server and built something?

Taking away the bed in "bedwars" is a little different then taking away 2 of the 100+ things you can build with in Creative.

Yes, and I did it just fine without lava.

 

I build at least two maps full plot a week, so Ye.

I also think that if you want to be creative maybe use like glass to make water. And we will not change our system because you can't place water or lava. (//replace air lava)

 

Delta go to other creative servers do they take away water and lava because someone abuses or because it causes lag. NO because they deal with the problems. They deal with the people that abuse. Also delta what about the people that make a waterfall? Sometimes you can't be creative with that because you don't know which way the water will flow.
