Silentó's Moderator Application

~Preface~

It has become apparent to me that a detailed moderator application is needed in order to become a moderator, hence, I have made a brand new application that hopefully now meets the expectations.

How old am I?

I am fourteen years of age.

Which time-zone am I in?

I live in Ireland (Europe), so my time-zone is GMT + 0 or UTC + 0

What languages do I speak?

I speak English fluently, I learn French and Irish in school although I am not fluent in them, I could however, decipher a few words.

Do I
have the necessary means of capturing evidence?

Yes, I can take screenshots and record.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?

It depends really, if someone requests me to be on anywhere between 15:30-21:00 I can usually be online at those times, during the weekends, if requested I can come online between 9:00-21:00. GMT + 0 that is.

How long have you been playing Mineverse?

More than six months at this stage.

Have you ever been banned in the past?

Yes, I have been banned once on the forums. In game I have been banned three times now if I recall correctly. Once for auto fishing on prison, which was a long time ago. The second was a lobby ban, I requested it at first but you cannot request bans so I disrespected staff. the third time which is ongoing is a thirty day ban from prison, for macros, which I promise is a false ban, as I did not use macros.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?

Yes, I am a moderator on my friends server which is currently closed.

Why do I think I should become a mod?

Kindness/Rudeness

At times I can be a very kind player, or a very rude player. It really just depends on who you are and how you talk to me. The first time I meet people I am generally very kind to them and wouldn't call myself rude at all.

Activity

I am a very active player on this server. What this means is that if I am chosen to become a moderator I can assist players in my timezone, who are usually deprived of moderators who mainly occupy the other timezones.

Haste/Speed

As I have mentioned before, I can quickly come online to assist players who are in need of help. I can also handle reports and ban appeals efficiently.

Identifying hacks/Knowing what hacks are

If a hacked client has been released, there is a good chance you'll find it in my versions folder. Now, I do not hack Mineverse, but occasionally I do enjoy hacking other servers. From this hobby, I have developed a good understanding of what hacks look like and how they can be used. This plays a big role into handling reports, when one must decide whether or not the accused is really using hacks, or is simply good at PvP.

Honesty

I like to believe I am quite an honest person. I have never scammed anyone in game or directly "lied" to them. I'm not afraid to speak the truth although sometimes this may make me look rude.

Grammar

I rarely make grammar or spelling mistakes on these forums. If I do however, please inform me so I may fix it.

Maturity/Immaturity

When required, I can be very mature. In most other cases you'll find me being immature. If it's required I can stop being immature and start being more mature.

Effort

Usually when I do something, I put in 100% effort and for this job I would do no less than 100%, you'd see me handling reports and ban appeals every day, and helping players in game.

Patience

I like to believe that I am quite a patient person, if someone is taking their time replying to me, I can wait it out. Unless I'm in quite a hurry, I'll usually take my time and get things right.

Fast at typing

I believe I am an extremely fast typer, this doesn't really help that much except in a case of urgency although I guess it's something useful to have.

Reliability

I am a very reliable person, if someone needs me to get something done I will get it done. Similarly, if a player on MV needs something done, I will do it, to the best of my ability.​

Conclusion

I find this hard to believe. Your application looks nice, huge improvement from the last one, but I still don't think you're ready.
