Sorry for the overload of suggestions but I am feeling limited while making an infection map. In infection as far as I know by @TADS4 redstone doesn't work . I think this should be included because then we can make traps for players, such as an automatic firing range and basic hopper clock circuit adaptions to reduce lag (8tops idea). This limitation really annoys me since all you can do is the noob thing of hooking up a button to a door. Some of you may argue that it isn't needed. I will therefore debate upon this opinion. We could bring out a new entire level of maps for infection, ones that are thoroughly enjoyable. Every few months these maps can be updated and the traps change to new places. I really want this to go ahead because as I have said it really limits my creativeness of the infection map that I am making and traps really suit the map that I am currently making as it is dark and sinister (/p h:2 oxagonploke on creative). Thanks for reading and I hope you understand my frustrations. EDIT: Some traps may be abused by players but to fix this some traps I will make automatic if this decides to go ahead (probably all). I doubt that this could work right now since redstone overall doesn't work. If you say no support or neutral please justify . I may adapt to suit your points!!
Ehhh The traps can be used by humans to combat zombies,and we already have enough human bias. Neutral,nice idea,but can be abused in maps
Some of them could be automatic, however I doubt they would work on infection at the minute without Redstone. The one I primarily want to do is automatic. Adding to thread.
OK thank you. I was thinking of a simple clock circuit hooked up to a dispenser, an automatic pit that you can fall into (disguise the pressure plates obviously) and an arrow launcher that will launch fire arrows and shoots quite quickly. They are my main ideas, I have others too but I won't tell as it will spoil too much XD.
The traps would be a good implent, but it would annoy people with their sound turned off, and they're like god or titan and have their kit and just walk straight into a lava pit ._.
No support. I don't think redstone components are necessary for infection. Players could abuse them; constantly activate the redstone and potentially cause lag.
Making them automatic could prevent abuse. Infection is already quite laggy and I'm pretty sure redstone wouldn't make a difference .

Support. I mean, people do not have to create lava traps in their maps. And redstone can be used for many other creations like piston doors. It's still up to the community to support a map, whether it contains redstone or not.
Having people with OP armor fall in a trap can be pretty satisfying. Though Country has a very good point,those with computers that are borderline good with current maps may lag on a redstone one.
No support. Players could access areas not normally accessible with redstone torches And those of us who rage would definitely not like falling in with titan armour This could also cause the game to lag, even if automatic. If many traps are activated at once it will create some lag
