I thought I would actually make a useful thread for once. I was wondering (or if anybody else was wondering) any good recording software. No. I don't want Bandicam. Watermarks are the worse. No. I don't want Screen-O-Matic. Watermarks are the worse. No. I don't want a screen recorder that has a watermark on it. Watermarks are the lamest. My favorite recording/streaming software is OBS. (Open Broadcaster Software). It works pretty well, I just wanted to see if there are any other good recording software that I can use. I will prob keep OBS because it's versatile, (e.g. choose what to record, customize stream, recording games ez,). Still, it would be useful to have other recording software to use/test out. So... are there any other good recording software?
Well, when I record for reports, I just used the built in function that comes with Windows 10. It's really good, and causes no fps drop on games, not that I have noticed.
I use the full purchased version of Camtasia Studio (around 100bucks). I personally don't use it to record MC but its great for both audio and visual recordings. Editing is super easy with multi-tracks and animations etc. AND NO WATERMARK!!!! lol ( I don't work for them)
you can get one called screencastify it runs through the google browser and gives no performance decrease. It also has options to straight upload to youtube.
OMG I'm looking for a screen recorder because I just applied for mod and everyone is saying: "All mods should have screen recorders try bandicam" No. Its got water marks
Personally I think it depends on the type of computer, life for example when I had a gaming intel desktop Fraps was the best thing to use and as of now, I am using an AMD desktop so for me the best thing that works is OBS.
I don't consider bandicam good, yet I use it, I have a youtube but I use bandi as a quick set up when I see hacks. So don't get it. I've been told Fraps. And downloaded it. Idk how to work it though, so... Its the 2nd best recorder for Minecraft.
I've found xSplit Broadcaster to be the best free recording software out there, and many people agree with me
Depends on what you're going for If it's something pc related, obs is good and twitch compatible of I'm right. For things like console, I have a roxio hd capture pro. Wouldn't really recommend for streaming, haven't really tried that, but, there's good recording and streaming ones like an elgato
