"We do not ban for mini-game offenses" Rant

Hello, today I would like to talk about a post that I made earlier today. My friends and I were playing on your server when we found a hacker in the bedwars mini-game. I recorded him and caught him using anti kb, I the proceeded to post the video on the forums to get this player banned. After the post was up for a while I got a reply, excited to see if I got the hacker banned I found that a staff member by the name of TADS4 had replied "We do not ban for mini-game offenses". I was really confused, the first thing that popped into my mind is, "so people can just go on any mini-game they want, use any hacks, and ruin the game for everyone else." This upsets me, I wanted to get this player banned for using these hacks as they are illegal to use on your server, but all I got is someone telling me that they would not ban him because he was playing a mini-game and not an actual server. Sorry if I sound mean right now (I'm not trying to) but this topic really upsets me. Please post in the comments what you think about this and if you think that the staff should ban hackers even if they are in mini-games. Thank you for your time!

I've gotten tons of people banned on bedwars. Not sure why @TADS4 denied it, new rule change?

 

The reason why they aren't banning anyone right now because Cyp found about people complaining, so he is figuring out a solution for this.

 

I'm just wondering, how would people complaining about something make staff not ban people on mini-games?

 

We are no longer banning on mini-games because of fairness.

Why would we ban someone on lobby for something that happened on mini-games?
It's unfair to those who hack on a game-mode and only get banned on that game-mode

 

Also, I forgot to mention this in the post, I have gotten plenty of people banned in the past on the mini-games server so I don't know why he is not banning them now.

You would ban them because they hack, aren't you supposed to make the server a better place by banning people that break the rules and ruin the game for other people. That's like saying if someone is a murderer that you shouldn't put them in jail if they left the area where they committed the crime. That just doesn't happen.

 

Perhaps create a minigame lobby and make that the only way to access the mini game servers, then ban players from the mini game lobby.

 

More people=more money.
More banned people=less money.

99% sure this is about money here. But I'll let you say what you want.

 

So this is about making money to you? Not about the players of your server having a good time and not getting the game ruined by hackers? Really...

Why have they stopped banning people? Why don't they just ban them because they are using hacks?

 

In my opinion, Mineverse should have been banning people from Lobby if hacking to begin with.
There is no reason to keep someone on the server with malicious intentions (i mean why have i not been banned yet???).

That's what this community lacks.
Yes, Mineverse CAN provide a nice place for players to stay and play, but there are so many players that just want to hack and get an advantage over others rather than actually playing the game that they bought (it doesnt make sense to me).

If Mineverse banned from Lobby for hacking to begin with, there wouldn't be a problem.

We are not lobby banning players anymore due to unfairness. What Cypriot said is he'll work on getting something for this.

I think that if they decide to ban the hackers in the Minigames they should AT LEAST do a Minigame ban And/or lobby ban. Because not banning someone who is ruining the game and changing the way you think about the Mineverse community it absurd.
