Those screenshots are players talking about staff in general. But anyways, its usually the new staff members who are always to get hate and disrespect, they just hate the fact that there is a new moderator that they have no clue who they're. Its really unneeded for staff to be disrespected for no apparent reason.
If you're tired of it, quit. Stop complaining, you applied. You have the decision to leave. Your retaliation is a simple pity.
Thank god someone finally did this. While I was a moderator all I got told was that in sh*t, useless, retarded, mental, worthless, etc. All of the moderators receive crap from this toxic community cause "they can't help you" I was told I was these things because as I was helping someone else someone kept spamming me, I can be helping one player with an issue and not be replying to someone spamming me cause I'm trying to help someone else. I tell the player "hold on, I'll get to you in a minute" and then all the player does is disrespect me and call me names and report me for not helping them when I'm helping someone else. This server had become more toxic than freaking kohi... It's depressing so see how this Community has changed, and it's stupid. Every player that talks crap to mods for not helping them while they're trying to help others can wait their turn, not spam for 20 minutes and be a d*** about it. If they don't have patience make a thread about it, and if you can't... Then stuff it.
I know a large portion of people hating mods is based around the PvP Genre sometimes these mods aren't aware of the PvP mechanics if I do indeed say so myself. For instance Strafing mods sometimes think it's killaura, or hotkeys mods might think it's auto armour or something like that and when you get false banned for these kinds of things it gets pretty stressful knowing that you're a legit player of the community and you get banned for something you didn't do.
I actually find some of the toxicity amusing. Don't know why, I just do. Yes, they try and push us to our limits. Does it work? Not always. There have been several people who are know for "tricking" the moderators into doing something demote-worthy. Some of the staff isn't able to stand the hate, which can be considered our weakness. But, it's a block game. They shouldn't let it get to them.
The MV community is extremely toxic, indeed. I have visited many MC communities through the course of the last 12 months. All of which do not compare to the hostility and drama this community spews on average. Not only this, but I have never encountered such bias in the staff ranks before. It's truly a sight to see.
MC kiddies, smh. You're none of the insults above. They likely told you all of this as insulting someone through a screen makes them feel good on the inside. You should have told them that if they don't like the way you and others staff, then perhaps they ought to apply themselves. Prove themselves better than everyone else on here. In reality, though, that's more than likely not the case.
You sir have the wrong mentality. I strive to be nice to everyone even if they did some bullsh*t. You want to be nice to everyone, because you never know when that can backfire in yo face.
That's easily noticeable, compared to auto-armour. Auto-armour is visable as the user who is using this mod doesn't stop fighting, yet manages to also place armour on at the same time.
Saw this thread accidentally. I really have to get my two cents in. Question yourself, mods, who the heck are you moderating for? A mc lifeless kids server with the age of ~9. OF COURSE people will be rude to you. And what you should focus on is not why internet weirdos do it, but why you're UP for this. There are 16363552617 things in life way better and way more interesting than complaining about being insulted on a game server. Yeah, read that. GAME. Games are for fun. You don't learn anything from them. Games stay games when you spend a little time on them. HOWEVER, when you're on so much, everyday, it is way more than a game. Don't call it an addiction, but let's say that you spend 2 hours daily online. That's 14 hours a week. Which is 672 hours a year. Just think about how much you could do with that time, instead of staring at a computer screen. If you're gonna play this, it's none of my business and I really don't care about you. But don't complain if idiots insult you. Because that's what idiots do. The people who surround us make us who we are. Just think about that.
firstly, harassing a moderator on a block game is pretty dumb (yes I have done it and just called myself dumb) secondly, this thread is useless. why??? well because when people read these threads it usually goes straight through their head and out the back thirdly, most of the staff do deserve the crap that they get. a lot of the staff here are bias and rude, and are hiding in the corner because they don't want to get caught.
I understand what you are saying. It's hard for the more "experienced" mods in that way to teach, however is possible. Yet, if you appeal, and state that you were not hacking, you just were able to switch that quickly. It helps the moderator to learn. Mistakes lead to learning.
