Hello everyone, lately I have noticed many people being rude to moderators. I don't understand why you all are being so rude and disrespectful to all of them. Now while this isn't everyone it is a large section of the people who play this server. In just today I took screenshots of four different people bad mouthing moderators.

I will not include names but here are the screenshots. One of them I am not including at all due to vulgar language in its contents. I blocked out who the mod was on number 1 so that he would not be offended.

Mods try very hard to keep our server running as well as they can and you all need to learn to respect and appreciate them more.

I interviewed ParanormalPizza to get his opinion on the matter.

Because they don't understand moderation, and they think that all mods don't do their jobs when we actually do it, and we do it well.

Because we try really hard to make this server nice for you, and clear out any rule breakers, and all we get in return is people telling us that we're not doing our job. Some of our mods have probably banned more hackers than one player has ever seen.

I hug mods everyday....

 

If you're trying to prevent people from disrespecting mods, it's never going to happen. People on this server, don't appreciate nothing.

 

Sometimes, players who disrespect Moderators have a 'reason', such as that Moderator banned them, the Mod was rude to them, etc...

That is not okay, regardless of the reason but what bugs me the most are players (who I have never met or heard of before) who disrespect me for no valid reason to impress their friends or to make themselves feel good. :-/

It can also be because a player wants to test the patience of the moderators.

 

Trust me, nothing will change.

 

The OPFactions community hate moderators because some moderators can't tell what hacks looks like, AND because moderators almost NEVER come online EVEN THOUGH most of them said they would after I made a conversation to all of them about it.....

 

No offense to moderators but literally every time I see one of these threads the only thing that goes through my head is "It's not just one sided". Plenty of moderators, past and present, have made a lot of mistakes and while they *may* have been mistakes, the effort isn't only the players to correct their behavior.

 

What really bugs me, is that people come to me for help with donor issues, plot proboems, etc. I tell them I cannot do anything because I do not have admin perms, but I tell them how to get in contact with an admin. Then they call me useless, because apparently I need admin perms to be useful.

 

Because some mods were genuinely , abused or thought they were above everyone.
