Honestly I think mine verse would be better with 1.8, I prefer 1.8 to 1.9 due to the fact that 1.8 keeps mine craft it's old simplistic way people love. 1.9 seems to just add way too much at once, and making things more complex when the majority of people just wish to play and have fun. If people wanted more complex pvp I'm sure there are servers out there that have that more complex pvp, but I love mine craft for how simple it is.
To be honest, I like the idea of updating to 1.9. What a lot of people aren't acknowledged about, and a reason they don't want the server to update to 1.9, is because they don't know that the server administrator or developer can disable the hated 1.9 features with a simple command. I really get annoyed when people feel the need to trash talk 1.9 before they do any research... Updating to 1.9 would be a good idea because: Unique gamemodes can be introduced to Mineverse, The current gamemodes do not need to be affected thanks to the option to remove 1.9 features. Removal of bugs, and there are some features in 1.9 that are pretty cool. I think the server should update to 1.9
Yes that's true, but remember certain plugins may not even update to 1.9, and it will probably take the plugins that will update a fairly decent while to update to 1.9, so even if we want 1.9 on mineverse, we'd still have to wait a decent while after 1.9 comes out.
The server will most probably be upgraded to 1.9, however I understand the new PvP style sucks, this is mainly due to a cooldown before you can deal max damage again. I do believe there is a solution to this in that you can edit the cooldown time as a server owner.

@Zulfqar I read that as a server owner you could change the cooldown time, do you know if this is possible?
To answer your question Ben, Autoclicker is used just for click for you and if there is a cooldown on that the hack for autoclicker would be a bit pointless. Although I'm sure when 1.9 comes out there will be a new hack added and used for that version because of the pvp style.
If no one else would be able to provide the plugin I, myself, will personally provide Cypriot a custom made plugin. So there are no problems.
Yes, it would stop hacks for a while untill people develop new hacked clients. I agree, I just loved block hitting, people were always thinking I had regen hacks or something.. pvp was best in the 1.7 era
The Only reason it SUCKS because Microsoft Ran Out of IDEAS! So they went to the public, and of course they Gave them Terrifying ideas, that are the worst thing that will ever Happen! I hate all the reasons about 1.9! The only thing that I like is the new blocks AND the Ender Dragon head! Please DO NOT Update to 1.9, the combat is all messed up and just ruins the point of minecraft Logically Diamonds do much more damage than Stone. Like for real, I hate it. Only My Opinion :p
