[Minigames] Why is it a lobby ban if banned on a minigame?

Hello mineverse.
I was recently incorrectly banned [This is not an appeal] for supposedly hacking on minigames. It is extremely frustrating how on Mineverse the mods perms are messed up like crazy. I understand that their perms are messed up, by LOBBY banning someone for getting banned on minigames is crazy! Please leave what your thoughts are down below and think about what you would do if this happened to you!

Is there any possible other solution to this other than Lobby banning?

Is there any other way to stop a player from going to minigames when banned?

Is the problem that only admins can do this?

 

Completely agree with you, Cyp or Noob need to make it so mods can ban on mini games not just lobby. If mini games give a lobby ban ALL OTHER SERVERS should be lobby bans also, Seems quite dumb that one server is. A lobby ban but the rest are server bans, Fix the perms or make all bans a lobby ban.

 

Hacking is actually a perm ban so your actually quite lucky you got a lobby ban

 

Wth hackings not a perm ban... Hacking 1st offence is 30 day, second offence is perm ban (i think)

 

It depends, I myself usually give: 1st Offence: 1 Month, 2nd Offence: 1 month, 3rd Offence: Perm.

And, to answer the question at hand here. We have to lobby ban, as we do not have perms on Mini-games as there are no actual ranks (Buycraft ranks). Therefore we are resorted to banning on Lobby.

We've also been in discussion about adding a lobby for Mini-games for this specific reason, but nothing official has come of it...yet.

No. It's a 30 and then a perm.

Also to this thread, we will not get perms here most likely. I have heard this several times. You have valid points. I wish we did have permissions. Feel free to post suggestions that could replace the lobby bans.

 

Lobby bans are unfair.
Unfortunately it's what Cyp has told us to do. There are no plans of giving us perms on mini-games. The idea of having an arcade lobby for mini-games has been mentioned and I don't think Crew wants to implement that just yet. It would solve the issue tho. We could just ban the hacker from the arcade lobby.

If you think lobby bans are unfair or if you have a suggestion I encourage you to email Cypriot and let him know. If his inbox is filled with emails about this issue he may be persuaded to talk to Crew and change his mind.

Until you guys get perms or the mini-games get a specific lobby why dont you make all bans lobby bans? Not the fairest option but it not right that one server is a lobby ban but the others arnt.

 

It doesn't make sense. We have the ability on other gamemodes so we do it. We do not on Minigames because we can't. Cypriot told us to lobby ban. That is what we are doing.

It's unfair to ban someone from the network for hacking on one game if we don't do that for all.

Either make all bans global or give us perms on mini games. That is exactly what he is saying and I agree.
