I got a laptop for Christmas and the first few moments I noticed something weird. While I'm holding W on the keyboard I can't press 2. The problem is: I can't press a number if I am holding a key that is directly below it. I really need help.

Step 1. Place your computer on stone floor
    Step 2. Burn it
Step 3. Get a new computer

What type of latop is it?

I don't think any of us can really "help" you in this situation but I can suggest you go to a computer store and ask them if you can fix it or send your computer back and buy a new one.

Can I have the exact model of the computer if you don't mind?

I think the problem is with the keyboard, not the computer...

Okay, is the problem with the computer or the keyboard?

Why would you need to press the button above a key while pressing the key below anyway?
What I suggest if you're really desperate and willing to wait another 2 weeks, get a replacement computer.

@Zulfqar & @Godisalive can you keep the rest of the conversation in a conversation and not in this thread? Lol :P

Okay, if you are going to return it, get the bill payer to contact Dell support with the request of a refund (fault 'faulty keyboard') and they will help you there further; Once you've done that start putting the laptop in the box as close as possible to as it came in.

Why so? The thread was made to request help and receiving the help on the thread is absolutely fine! ;p

But what you and @Godisalive doing is having a conversation, not only a single post that solves the problem...
