More moderators would be nice, but it's also the amount that the current moderators don't do that cause a problem.
The temp-ban for 31 days is absolutely ridiculous, I've been banned 19 times in-game. Doesn't that tell you I should probably be perm banned? Seriously, I understand Cypriot and Crew want donations but this is seriously just ridiculous.

Owners/Admins tell the Developers the get off there a$$es and go work (yes, actually work) on a custom anti-cheat plugin. What's the point of being called a Developer if they are not developing anything to help the server. This server has ~800 players every day and it could be a better server if the people that actually own the server @#$%ing start trying to fix the gapple lag, hackers, and getting a new host (other than their current ty one).
Well they shouldn't ban instantly because i got banned for 'hacking' of oppvp but i wastint it was just lagg and they banned me for it i appealed they declined then they said to appeal again then they declined it and said it was a duplicate when they said to appeal so i guess they need to do a better job at moderating
Some of this is correct, but in a way all of it is wrong. There is an overwelming amount of hackers on this server simply because hacked clients are available to get for free. Therefore, people get them. Until hacked clients are illegal or until websites that provide hacked clients are closed down, poeople are going to hack on servers. You can stop hackers by banning them, but it won't matter because one will replace him/her in no time. Hackers can't be stopped for now so I say just keep on reporting them but you need to realize you'll see another very shortly after that. No matter what, hackers will hack. If you're reading that and you don't hack, you can help by not getting hacks. Let's be the end of hacks and not download them.
The way to reduce hackers is to scare them thinking they will get banned if mods are on. If no enforcement is seen then they will feel safe to hack and they take full advantage of it. But if we don't them that luxery then they won't do it. And this how we reduce hackers on here anyways, but unforntunity hack cilents sites won't be shutting down.
Due to the recent moderators leaving I can kind of agree with the lack of moderators also it is the holiday period and mods are human to so do need a break, finally if there is a lack of reports then why don't you be the change you want to see? Do more reports and the server will be cleared up
When you have computer that runs 30-40 fps constantly, you'll understand recording all the time isn't good.
Even if you perm ban the hackers, it wont change anything, most of people uses public alts to hack and as we all know there are unlimited public alts so trust me you'll never be able to stop people from hacking unless you get a really good plugin agaisn't hacks
The team has come a long way as opposed to a few months ago. The reports are being handled, ban appeals are at a steady rate most of the time. The moderator team as a whole is striving compared to times in the not so far gone past. Some do more than others, it is how it is in every work environment. It is my job to see what moderators are going inactive and who is not doing an adequate amount of work. I am constantly watching. I know who is not doing their job fully. Remember, a good half of the team goes inactive around the holidays. That is understood. We do punish for inactivity other times though. The mods are given a few weeks notice and if they don't pick it up, we all know what may happen. There is totally room for improvement, don't get me wrong. We are constantly trying to improve ourselves and create a more stable work environment. There are not many of us, remember that. 18 of us and over 1000 players makes things hard, but we are not incapable. The new coming moderators will hopefully add efficiency and help the server. Lots of research and background looks now happen to promote moderators. There is more then 1 person who is part of the decision. All knowledge is pulled together to find the best staff members. Certain activities and qualities are looked for. Moderators and not promoted blindly. I am not being BSer, I have better things to do with my time then lie to the community. 31 day bans are out of the moderators or my power. It is enacted by our admins which are the people who we are obliged to follow. The moderators have no choice but to follow it. We are always going to get hate. They banned be falsely, they are inactive, they are bad moderators. Think what you may. There is a dedicated ban appeal section for that. You know, there is another side of the curtain most people don't see. Again, we are always trying to improve and help the server to the best of our abilities. Very true. I record my gameplay daily and I try to get as many hackers banned asap and as much as possible. I'm even thinking of starting a whole separate channel just for hacker videos :/
