Support!! This is a great idea, I have been scammed a total of 25k on kitpvp and another 10-15k worth of items for a Titan upgrade... Some $$$ back might be nice
Major support I guess it could be abused though, and im not sure how that could be resolved but some people deserve their money back
This can easily be abused. I can stage this with a friend who is on an alt, make a scam report for an atrocious amount of money, he pays me back and I make double profit. No support.
I haven't been scammed, I just know it's an issue. Scam reports? What about proof? Thanks however. The last paragraph describes who would be giving the money back. Head Moderator, or highly trusted staff members, scams don't seem to happen a lot (from looking at reports), so even if the owners do have to do it, it wouldn't be hard, a console command could do it. Thanks! Wow. Bazingled. It took me a while to figure that out, and people aren't robbing a bank, so it's unlikely something like this would happen, yet it is a good theory. Commands are also logged, (Should be) so it is possible, I just fail to see Crew or Cyp being bothered :(. Again, I haven't been scammed, I just feel a lot of people are being scammed, and if the Admins or Staff have to work slightly harder to ensure people don't get scammed, why wouldn't they take it? Also, abuse would be hard, it would take serious planning, and without proof, no refund. What @Mineterria said is very true, yet there will be a way past this, like command logs. It's not really unlikely, and it's pretty easy to do because Cypriot and Noobcrew don't have time to stalk the commands 24/7 No support.
I have realised that this is a possibility, yet this is just an idea. If there is something that can be done, great, if not, that's fine. Thank You for your comment however :D.
Support again, but on part of scamming where you lose your items the mod and the scammer should make arrangements for the scammer to give back the items with a shorter punishment, say if you got banned for scamming it was perm. But if you give back the items it goes down to a 30 day ban. Once the player gives the items to the mod the mod then makes arrangements with the players to get he/ she's items back. This will be a long process but if you've been scammed before you would know how awfoul it feels, and getting the player banned isn't good enough to quench your hate. Maybe something like this? (i dont have time to re-write it)
Neutral, I completely support the idea... but the /eco command is a very big command. It has to be a very highly trusted staff member. Mods do not have it so it would have to be a head mod or higher and with what I can guess. A single head mod or staff member. Until that is figured out I remain neutral.
Of course, it'll be neat to get refunds back, but I feel the cons outweigh the pros as stated above. No support.
