Before I state my opinion on whether I support or not...
Ehm, sorry if I'm being a noob here, but why do you want to forsake your MV Builder rank for a Global Mod rank? Will that override your MV Builder rank so that you will be a Global Mod instead, if your application is accepted?

 

Why no support? I think you can state your opinion better.

 

I assume I can keep both titles, obviously will have to get the mod prefix but that won't stop me from building at all. I will still stay loyal to the build team.

 

You can be a Builder and Mod at the same time, @Rythen did it and @Nanurz is currently doing it.

FYI - Builders which have a moderator rank keep both in chat, it looks something like BUILDER-MOD or MOD-BUILDER last time I checked
