This is a simple suggestion. If we want to lock a thread we have to tag a mod. This causes mods' alert panel to fill up. And also, if the mod is not active on that day, he/she may miss it or might take a long time to get to it. I know some moderators go through the forums, but this wastes their time. So instead, why don't we have a button that will mark the post as "for archive" or something and will show up in a section on the forums or on the moderator panel.
Heyo! Support, It would be better if you could send your own thread to the archives yourself. Have a great day!
I don't agree about us being able to send our threads to archive (might be a bit messy, especially for new people), but to be able to mark our threads as archive.
This would be difficult to add... and I can imagine the amount of bugs there would be using this. Although it would be useful at times I'm going to stay neutral.
No support. Tagging a moderator is easier because we don't have to go looking for the thread; you can also use the report button.
We don't get spammed with tag alerts from this, actually. Tagging us is fine as it is our job to lock and archive threads.
