I lost count but pretty much a few months after the fully tested game came out. How long have you played on Mineverse? I first joined Mineverse about a year ago on one of my friends accounts. As I played OpPvP, I began meeting new people and have been getting better and better at communicating and at the game of course. Now, I spend most of my time on OpPvp. I also play on OpFactions and Survival! If I am to get Moderator, I would spend most of my time on OpPvp. Nowadays, there are an increasingly rate of hackers here and there on OpPvp. To keep them from ruining other's fun, I would like to give them a timeout from the server and keep fair judgement to all. What experience(s) do you have moderating a community or a game? I've moderated on a lot of servers before but after a bit a lot of these servers either got hacked or had shut down because of loss of players. (EDIT) Usually servers are shut down due to financial issues. I have also done a lot of cool community service jobs in my community for example helping out in the senior centers or libraries. I have also worked for a short period in one of my family friend's stores. Although it was a liquor shop.... it still gave me a small introduction to community management. Most of these activities gave me a basic understanding of helping out anyone in need of help and being a great role model to others. How many hour(s) a day can you moderate the forums and the server? On the weekends, I am more busy as usual since you know, its the weekend. I got a lot of things going on and I can fit 2 hours at least. Weekdays - 1:30 - around 4-5 PM is a most definite. After that, I might be on and might not. My schedules can easily be tampered with but I am confident with at least 2 hours. Checking up on forums would be an easy every hour thing. Why do you want to be a Moderator? This server is exciting to be on. New players join every day, and new friends are made. I could see that it took a lot of work to bring up Mineverse to what it is now. I have played on Mineverse for quite a while now and even purchased a Sponsor rank. I would like to help this server's community from being bullied over the internet. However, some of you might see this as a ridiculous reason but I often see this in Mineverse and I know as a fact that many of you can't deny that you haven't. My main goal is to help other players to feel secure and to have fun at the same time. I can be there to solve arguments and be there to talk when others need me and simply make conversation. I can catch exploiters, and hackers and keep the server fair to all. Each player should not feel left out and every player should respect one another and keep the community fun for everyone. I can promise you, that I am not a person that just applies for Staff so I can use its benefits to only benefit myself but I will use those powers to help every member in this community in the most non abusive way. Do you have the necessary means of catching evidence? Yes of course. Am able to capture and upload screenshots I am able to upload videos as well and record videos. Fraps for one Have you ever been banned in the past? Never. Additional Information Who Am I? What Am I Like? Mature. I am overall a very mature person, but I definitely have patience for younger kids, which inhabit most of Mineverse. By mature, I mean I am not yelling out random things, goofing around, calling names, ect. I am still a very outspoken person and fun. Fast Typer. I have been playing minecraft for over 3 years as I said before and am very comfortable with typing. I have took computer classes on both typing and programming before. I can easily get around on my computer and can easily communicate with others. Kind. I am that kind of person that likes everyone. Everyone is equal to me no matter what race, what religion. If someone hates me, I honestly don't care what you think. I don't keep grudges either, which is a great quality to have in my opinion. Helpful and Loyal. Overall I'm a very helpful person. I am not the type to ignore someone, disrespect, or downgrade someone who is asking for help on any matter. Whether it's reporting a player, or even just to the smallest things like how to use commands on creative. I will always be willing to help someone out with something in game or even if its a personal issue. Helping people is the best way to keep someone feel wanted and respected on the server. Active I am very active on Mineverse, you can see me throughout the whole server every day. I am mostly active on servers such as OpPvp, OpFactions, Survival, and if you play those, I am 99% sure you know me. This is a very important quality to have when it comes to moderating a community. You have to be both active on forums, dealing with reports and issues; be active ingame, dealing with people who use unfair advantages ;), or rude, petty arguments over the internet. I can guarantee that all of you have seen these annoying fights. Whether its "You're just salty I F****ed you up." Woah there, keep your language to a limit. Or annoying spams that take up the chat.
