I'm surprised that not a single staff member replied to this thread yet, it was mainly targeting them (Crew and Cyp included).

This is such a controversial topic but there isn't a solution, there will ALWAYS be hackers and the more you try to stop them the more they will work out ways around it. I agree with more mods though, most inactive mods are gone now though

I know they will always be hackers on Mineverse, the problem is, there are so many of them and they stay on there not minutes, not hours BUT DAYS!! And after their account gets banned they come right on their alts. Ban evading is also part of the problem.

The only problem is we have too many mods for some specific time zones. We need mods from different countries and timezones to keep everything balanced.

i agree with you all but i think it should be like this @Noobcrew and @CypriotMerks you should set up a trap you should go on an alt and hack and tell all the mods not to ban that account give that account perms but dont op him just give him a titan prefix so that account wont die because it is hacking and it can ban hackers this idea has many flaws to it but if on of you guys are willing to accept the idea im willing to perfect it @Pile_of_Butts can u tag crew for me

You speak as if we need Robot Mods, who do nothing but ban ban ban, like savages. Mods are humans, they have lives friends, family just like you. This is a game, not a job.

I agree we need more MOD's, It's only logical. Many hands make light work, Its just a matter of CypriotMerks and Noobcrew finding the right hands.

Ok, now this just got me really mad, at the fact that you didn't think this through. Sure, our main job as mods is to promote justice to Mineverse, but you then said that we apparently talk to our friends the whole time, or it seems you were trying to say that. We became mods for a reason- Cyp trusted that we wouldn't do this the whole time and actually do something. We don't ever talk and slack off whenever we go on, we do promote justice and help others.
Hiring more active mods doesn't mean they would actually do a good job of it. For example, you could hire an extremely active person, but they don't have any experience what so ever and mess up badly. They don't only need to promote active people, but trust worthy and responsible people. This is why it's so hard for Cyp to promote people, because some people who do have potential don't apply.
In the bit where you said "These mods need to fly around and look for hackers in PvP or xraying and ban them on sight!", I get the idea you mistake us for robots and not people with real lives and other sacrifices commit to. We can't spend our whole time looking for hackers and banning them, because that would be really boring. We have rights to also enjoy our time, like PvP with others or just chat around AT TIMES. Then, when we should, we then search for hackers and help people.

We can't ban all hackers and expect others not to come back. Hackers will always come. Our job is simply to ban the hackers we find.

I totally agree with this in there mod app it said they would help the server and be active a certain amount of hours in a day
if Cyp knew they wouldn't help him there would be no reason for him to promote them to mod and they would have just stayed as default players. Also what do u want the mods to do screw up there lives just for a game lol some of them are in college and school why would they scrap there life for a server that most probably wont make them as much money irl (no offence but a out of life job is better for a person) also they have family. And lastly when they said the would be mod it doesn't mean that they would do stuff normal players do like pvp for an example MaxNinja10 does the job done and has fun with everyone else so stop making a big deal you want the hackers to stop flooding the server you apply for mod and try to do better I granite you will be mad at people for not banning enough hackers when you are trying the hardest you can.

Yeah, some people don't even recognise our hard work and take it all for granted. At least we're trying people.

Funny, I've never seen you on. I understand where you come from though, I'm a pretty busy person myself. I can say this for a lot of the staff, I have seen them a lot more often the past few weeks, so good job guys, I thank you. And what have I noticed? LESS HACKERS! Keep up the good work guys. Before I close out this reply though, I said in the thread I understood the mods have stuff to do and I should have added you guys don't have to be robots. I just wanted you guys to consider what your MAIN job is.

I think it's timezones. I live in Sydney, Australia. Anyway, thanks for the appreciation. We have been really getting into the reports and handling them.

I agree l. I've made appeals, and MPG had denied my appeals so much.
