I think I should become a moderator because of my experience on the server and how I deal with situations, I am known well in infection and spend most of my time there, and am active on creative, as well as this have played on EVERY Mineverse server and am familiar with the basics, if any questions are asked I will be able to answer then with the best of my knowledge. On my time on Mineverse, I have made many friends through good and bad experiences, and becoming a mod will help me get even closer to the loving community. I have no rank currently but am voting everyday to support the server, and even if I don't win a rank from it, its nice to know I am helping out the server. Since I fist started on the server, most of the players online were extremely helpful, and after playing for a long time and welcoming new-coming members, I wish to make more lives easier when they come on to play. After a lot of experience, I know quite a bit about how this server works, and see many ask in chat how to do this and that, many not getting a response due to players just wanting to get on with the game, and being drowned out by spam in chat, especially in creative such as things like rp's and donors and advertising, many of which, an active player like me could help stop, I am not afraid to use discipline when its needed and do not respect the un-necessary rude and sometimes offensive comments made to other players who have done nothing wrong. I am going to admit straight away, I have been banned once many months ago on factions for hacking, at the time I was going through a rough situation at home, and since have not used any modded clients, and have never done anything wrong in / on the forums. Currently I am going through many tests and have chose my options for GCSE's, but am fitting in any time on the server can possible, and am hoping this will not effect my chances of becoming staff. Any positive comments are appreciated, I can deal with constructive criticism, and if you have any improvements I could make, it would be very helpful! Some of my traits: Honesty- I am always honest about things, if something has happened in the past, I will always say weather it was me or not, and to be honest, I hope this trait section doesn't sound too vein! When something happens online Im not a snitch about it, if somebody wants to keep something quiet I will, but it depends what the situation is, if I saw they are using hacks, then yes, I will inform somebody or do something about it if its on infection or creative! Friendliness- When I am online you will never see me talk badly about someone or have a go for no reason, I like to have a joke around with many people online and when a matter arises that someone is being rude or offensive for no reason, then will ask for them to calm down! there's no need to get angry over a game to just take a quick break for a wile and chill bro. Many of the staff I have talked to are friendly and very helpful, one of the best things I love about this position! Informative- After a long time on the server I have got to know most of what happens, solutions to problems and how many types of people deal with things, if somebody asks a question, I will always answer it as soon as possible to help then continue playing the game they are one. If another member of staff asks me something, I will only ever answer with the truth and exactly what has happened. I don't record everything I see but I normally screenshot things in chat if I were to kick somebody and someone else asks for evidence, its rare I get bandicam ready for every single game I play, spying on every player but I know when to tell someone what is wrong. Since I know and have been on every server, I am able to answer most questions asked, and will spend a decent amount of time on there each day when possible. Strict / tolerance!- Even though I am nice at times, I never hesitate to correct somebody for others benefit if they are in the wrong, if somebody is abusing another in chat, I normally ask for them to stop, and once again calm down, if there is a valid reason for an argument, both stories will be taken equally and sorted through evidence and convenience. I do not go around banning people for calling someone else a 'noob', I normally would just give them a warning in chat, and if it happens again a last warning, then I would kick them for a while so they can reflect on what they have done, I wont kick for hours on end, it depends on what they have done. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Monday : 7-8 hours Tuesday : 7-8 hours Wednesday : 7-8 hours Thursday : 7-8 hours Friday : 8 hours Saturday : 10 hours Sunday : 10 hours (weekends vary if I am busy, most of the time I am not) When I am on, I normally spend my time on infection and creative, however am willing to spend at least 10-20 minutes on every other server helping players out by sorting queries and general questions. How long have you been playing Mineverse? I have been playing Mineverse for around a year now, and the forums around 3/4 of a year. Have you ever been banned in the past? None yet, which is why I would love this position as a moderator to grow my current skill handling situations and helping the community of this server, however I have owned a server in the past and am familiar with most of the commands and things to deal with A tad about me - I was born and have grown up in England, and before you ask I am not posh or anything! Even though when it comes to me being online less when exams increase, it will not effect the way I moderate if I get this opportunity, and it means a lot that you take me into consideration without disregarding me because of my age.
