Are you going to be playing Minecraft 1.9?

So if you haven't heard, Minecraft 1.9 is being released in the future and it's called the "combat update" and I am really not excited for it personally. Here is information about Minecraft 1.9. if you are interested: http://minecraft.wikia.com/wiki/1.9_The_Combat_Update

I will 90% most likely not play Minecraft 1.9, but are you guys going to be playing the newest update of Minecraft? It be awesome if you could tell us why or why not you are not playing 1.9.

The reason I will not be playing 1.9. is because of the new combat system and it has made to crazy changes to Minecraft. I don't like the changes and I'm not saying you have to agree with me, it's completely up to you if you are going to be play the game or not, but what really made me dislike 1.9. was mainly two hands, wings, and shields. I like the cosmetic ideas of being able to see how much damage you done to hostile mobs, but the idea of like this agility-power thing is not my cup of tea. Yes, I know it's called the "combat update" for a reason, but I was a big fan of the Beta and Alpha. So no, I will not be playing Minecraft when 1.9. comes out most likely but those are some reasons why I WON'T be playing the game.

Everyone's apparently going to quit. But I bet people will come back within hours of saying they quit lol.

I'll try it out to see what it is like. But, like most people here, even if I hate it, I am too addicted to stop playing it just because I don't like some of the updates.

 

I'm not even playing 1.8 rn.

when :lol:1.9:lol: comes out and if mineverse decides to add it I would probs want to quit even though I couldn't because I have a high rank (Titan)

 

I'll try to play it, 1.9 isn't bad in singleplayer but when the servers are updated combat will be the biggest pain in the

 

PvP will be extinct when 1.9 comes out. I'm 100% not playing it.

 

Oh, quitting Minecraft will most likely be my final choice, there is no "future" to Minecraft most likely for me. I may change, I don't know, but I'm not interested in the game anymore after 1.9. I'll be there to play Minecraft when 1.9. comes out so I can check out the new stuff, but I will NOT 90%, will not play the game... at all...

That is perfectly fine and I will respect your opinion. I want to try out 1.9. too.

 

I do see your point, and the combat system does a get a little bit old, and having cooldowns and all that shaz makes the combat part of the game fun, but, it isn't my style of combat for Minecraft. I'm not saying the combat sucks or its unfair but like I said before it's not my style of combat in Minecraft. To be honest, the only reason I hate Minecraft is the 2 hands... ONLY reason I really hate the update...

 

Minecraft isn't all about PvP lol.

 

Even though MC isn't all about PvP, lots of people still play it and it's downright dull, as @The Real Xtreme said, in mv, if you can click faster you win.

 

If you are going to change my mind, it's not working lol. The reason I play Minecraft is FOR THE PVP...

 

I'm not the biggest fan of PvP but I can see how this would upset those who are..
