Minecraft 1.9?!

Minecraft is realeasing 1.9! There are many new features, but personaly, I think that the duel wielding is terrible! PvP will never bee the same - again ! It's a terrible idea! Should Mineverse upgrade?

 

Personally, I don't want 1.9. But in order to get possibly cooler features in later versions, we'd have to upgrade to 1.9.

Dual Wield could make games like GTA more similar to the actual game... so I guess it can do some good

You haven't tried 1.9 on Mineverse, nonetheless it doesn't matter what your opinion is since Mineverse will be upgrading to 1.9 whether you like it or not, as a server and as a business it has to.

 

Dude, chill! You can turn off duel wielding even if it's on 1.9! I've spoken to a few Mods, they say that Minevrse will eventually upgrade, but it will be a month or so after the alpha edition comes out!

Look at the bit I highlighted in bold! I'm not sure what your defenition of angry is, but it seems like it when you say:

He wishes he has cuts on his arms. In other words, he's basically referring to you cutting for attention. There's an ignore button that's quite handy.

You can disable 1.9 features. Such as player bumping, weapon cool down, and I believe duel wielding. As well as most 1.9 features.
When you duel wield two weapons, it isn't like you can attack with both weapons. Only the weapon in your primary hand can you attack with. The duel wielding is for torches, shields, and most consumable/usable items.

Like the Doctor said, a lot of the features including dual wielding are controllable and the use of shields can be phased out in the PvP servers like kitpvp. So even with all the changes, a lot of them are customizable. 1.9 won't be much different if most of the additions are disabled somehow

 

I want 1.9, but I don't want what's in 1.9, you know?

 

We could have some non PvP biased servers like SkyBlock, Creative, Infection (where you only receive game stuff and it's linked with creative for maps).

 

Uhh is it possible to just upgrade some servers to 1.9? I.E. the non PvP servers.

 

We all can't judge unless we actually tested out 1.9, it might be good, it might not. We'll see
