Removing the ability to see Report Threads (Archives)

I think that allowing the Banned Players - Archives to be viewed
publicly (By anyone) is a good and bad idea.
When reporting a player, I want to be able to report the player, then later send them a link to the thread that got them banned etc.

However, sometimes, I want to report someone anonymously, without them knowing. All it takes for someone to find out it was me (Or you) who reported that player, is a couple of clicks to the archives.
This could ruin friendships, cause arguments, all over banning a person who disrespects the Rules.

Like Pile said, I think that there should be some way of allowing players to view how much work and effort Moderators put into their jobs, yet not in a way that can be used against the reporting user, or used to start or flare arguments.

    My solution.

I think it would be a great idea, if somehow there was a way that players can upload their report anonymously or non-anonymously.
This way, if you didn't want the reported user finding out about you reporting him/her, then you could select it to be published anonymously.

However, if you want the reported player to be allowed to see your report, then you wouldn't upload the thread anonymously.

Im not sure if this idea is possible, yet I now don't want to report some people, as I am faced with the problem of the player checking the Archives, seeing it was me (or you) and, well.. knowing.

Please leave your thoughts on this idea!

No support. It's nice knowing why people are reported and such. I don't believe this will be any problem to anyone. It's also providing players with information; such as which moderators are active.

If it was a really big deal to you to stay anonymous, private message a moderator explaining your situation. Having this enabled allows us to see what staff are actually active, & most servers give everyone the ability to view reports and handled reports.

I'm sorry to disagree with you, yet it's a problem for me, or anyone else with any sort of paranoia.
It's useful, however, 'My Solution' allows both options to be in place.
Thank You for your feedback, have a nice day :).

I agree with you, you could private message a Moderator, yet, by reporting them (to all staff) the banishment (Banned) of the player (being reported) would be in place a lot quicker, with all the moderators.
Thank You for your feedback however! Have a nice day :).

Sure, it'll take longer, but it's rare that someone wants to stay anonymous. Keeping the archives open is the best way for people to see what the staff do. It'll even help banned players, because they can go see what evidence was used to report them and then explain their P.O.V. You could even ask a friend from forums to report your friend, if you want.
