I think it would be a little hard to implement tmod because it requires a shuffle and balancing of the permissions. We can however try within the team to create a trial period type experience. I would like to see tmods here but its a bit of work to do and its not highly necessary right now.
Unless Cypriot and Noobcrew appointed you their spokesperson, I don't know how you would know that they trust nobody. It seems like you are just speaking for them.
I got this information via long talks with the Staff Team. You think some of the highest respecting staff members would tell me a lie? Think the long conversations I've had with both players and staff were false? I reckon not. Events that happened in the past caused this suspicion. You think I am just spewing false nonsense, without an background evidence to support my claims? Their mistrust is evident, hence why they hand pick very few mod apps every few months. Hence why they're reluctant to add more staff ranks. Hence why only the bare bone commands are given to Mods, etc. Shall I go on?
I'd rather you not go on but I can't tell you how to live your life. I'm not saying the "highest respecting staff members" are lying, I'm simply saying that it would be great if you could not speak for the owners of the server.
I am not speaking on behalf of anyone. I am speaking of the causes as to why this issue hasn't been resolved yet. There are many other factors besides this one, in fact.
I've never commented here as I have not known exactly what I want to say, but, here I go. I agree with most of the points people have made throughout this thread, and apologies if Moderators are not always there when you need them. But quality over quantity, right? Sometimes promotions can be hard due to the fact that there hasn't always been a huge batch of worthy candidates in the owner's eyes. I'm not saying that there aren't a lot of people out there who are un-worthy for the position, in fact, I believe there are many people who would make this server great if given the chance. The owners just need to look a little harder to find worthy applicants among all of the others. Sometimes, great applications are buried underneath those who make it seem like a community popularity contest. I agree with people who suggest we need more ranks. Even though it may not happen, it would be nice to have more Moderator ranks like they have on Skyblock, (trial-mod, super-mod, etc). This is just my opinion, I am not saying what is right or wrong, just what I believe.
