They are aware? Is that why this issue has yet to be resolved? Is that why countless amounts of threads pertaining to this problem have been buried and forgotten? Is that why Mineverse continues to see a steady decline as these issues have yet to be fixed? They may be aware of this problem, yes, but have yet to take any form of action to resolve this issue. And no, promoting three Mods in the past few months isn't considered a resolution to this severe issue.
They are aware. I have already stated why it hasn't been resolved. Cyp has replied to almost every thread about this saying that he is going to promote more mods, he just needs time.
Let me just address something real quick with you here, and you're not the only one to have similar thoughts; I understand Cyp and Noob are busy, considering all of the duties they must attend to on a daily basis. But, by simply adding more staff members and calling it a day won't resolve this issue fully, no. There is much more to this resolving this issue than by promoting more Mods, as I have stated many times. For a while now the owners have handled most of the dirty work that involves running a large server. This is a huge problem by itself, as they don't have the time by themselves to resolve a lot of the issues that still are present here on Mineverse. This is why the addition of more ranks would be nothing but beneficial for everyone here. There is only one staff rank on this server, and that is honestly quite unheard of. Because of this very sole problem, this server has seen major decline. With no Admins to relieve the owners of all of the stresses given to them daily, and with no form of organization at all.. The staff team on here has fallen into ineffectiveness and face overwhelming duties, alongside Cyp and Noob. Another such issue being the mistrust Cyp and Noob retain with this community. The reason as to why we don't have Admins, nor a consistent rate of accepting staff apps is because Cyp does not trust giving such people such responsibilities, likely due to past events. Cyp's method of hand picking a few apps irregularly is no longer working, simple as that. Because of all of this, the staff remains abnormally small and ineffective, issues remain unattended to as the owners carry most of the stresses on their own shoulders, and as to why this problem has grown so serious. The fact that the owners have little time to fully resolve one of the server's largest issues, is a huge warning sign that things need to change. If this issue remains unresolved much longer, which it will if Cyp and Noob continue to handle things mostly on their own, it will lead to further decline. This is why things need to change. This is why more ranks need to be added, why a regular acceptance of apps would be beneficial, and why more changes need to be made than by simply promoting mods.
I agree. and being to busy and trying to operate a server solo are both problems that, if they solved one, they would solve the other.
The things @WolfBane has stated are the things that need to happen. Its time that things change for the good around here. I feel that there are many hackers and spammers/advertisers on the server. This server is great, but it has so many much more potential, and I feel it can achieve greatness, ALOT better than what the current situation for the server actually is. We need to come together as a community, and give our feedback, for the sake of the server.
Who's being an attention wh*re? Lack of mods is a serious problem on MV, and anyone who pays attention to anything should be able to see that. It seems that you are the one bringing in the "h4te" since you just called someone an attention wh*re for addressing a serious problem.
After investigation by going to many servers I'm hardly on and playing for 30 minutes to an hour. I have came with the results that we do need more staff. Gamemodes I visited -------------------------------- Skywars Skygrid Skyblock KitPvP OPPvP OPPrison OPFactions Factions Survival Prison Creative Gamemodes I visited that moderators were online -------------------------------------------------------------------- Factions OPFactions Creative These results are valid as I stayed on each gamemode for about an hour. I really think that we get more mods, or staff are assigned to moderate a certain server or 2 a day, but they are always allowed to switch to others.
