I believe that this is a problem. Whilst playing ArcherPvP, it is always fun to use a special arrow (/arrow), and it is very fun to see the result of what the arrow does. However, I was playing a while ago (this has happened more than once) and I was fighting a player, and he decided to only shoot me with "Freezing Arrows" so I was locked in one place. Now, I know this is mainly the point but it makes the idea of PvP unfair, and un-fun the player being shot at with these arrows is defenceless, no matter what Armour or what they do, they are completely defenceless. Even health potions don't work, /spawning doesn't work, you are literally trapped wherever they choose to trap you. I know the cost of buying these arrows is high, which makes it less easy to perform something like this, yet it is still not good. I lost all my good stuff to this, and I could've easily won the fight if he didn't spam me with arrows (Freezing). Solution:I think it would be better if there was a cool down on how many special arrows you can shoot. For Example: You can shoot 3 arrows then you have to wait 10 - 15 seconds, then you can shoot another 3. This would allow fair play, even if the attacking player had 2 stacks of special arrows, there still would be a chance to at least escape, or ask for help. Yes it was quite annoying. And I think a 3-5 second cool down should be implemented for at least the Freeze Arrows, per arrow. What they do is pretty much make someone afk, thus easy to kill. Support.
I think we can all agree that is a problem, but I think the only way Mineverse could solve this is to have a cooldown....... and we all know how cooldowns go for MV. :/
But it did happen. "A stitch in time saves nine". We might as well fix this issue, and prevent further problems. Also, some players have 30k+ and with these arrows only costing $1 per arrow sometimes, anyone could easily get a stack. If each arrow costs $3, for an entire stack of arrows, it would only cost $192, and if the Speciality Arrow Spammer is fighting a max geared opponent, then the profit will be much more.
I'm fine with every arrow, I just think freezing arrows need to be nerfed. Maybe make it so that you can turn your head around, just can't move around with your legs
