NA [USA] ScoFu13's Moderator Application

Thank you for taking the time to read my Moderator Application. I am currently staff on Mineverse but just a prison guard in the prison server. I feel that I have so much more to contribute to Mineverse across all servers as a moderator as well as in the forums.

Mountain. (Don't let this dismay you as I play during European times as well)
I live in Arizona so I have the lovely privilege of never changing my clocks for daylight savings time ;)

I live in the United States of America

What languages do you speak?

I speak English and a fair amount of German and Spanish

Why do you think you should become a mod?

I think I should become a Moderator on Mineverse because I feel like I have a lot of experience and skills that could be a great benefit to the server and game modes. As stated before I am 27, yes I play MineCraft and I thoroughly enjoy it. I have found that I enjoy being staff on servers more than just playing as I like to help. I know how frustrating it can be for players to join a server and be overwhelmed and I would like to be there to help them on their journey through MineVerse.

I am very against hackers and feel that they take away the fun from the game. I know sometimes they feel justified for using them because they were killed by a hacker but it does not make it better. Hacking is cheating and not welcome on this server. I have never used hacks but Co-Owning a server and being staff previously on others I am aware of the hacks that people use and know what to look for.

As I started before I am currently a prison guard and want to help out across all off the game modes on Mineverse. I know the job and can perform it well.

Some different reasons why I feel I am a good candidate:

I am mature. Not only because of my age but because I have been through a lot in my life so far. I deployed to Afghanistan when I was 19 and spent 13 months in combat. I grew up faster than most while all of my friends were having fun and being young adults in college.

I am still in the Army and have sworn to a set of principles and live by them.

I have a lot of experience with handling situations and being able to remain calm and not become overwhelmed as many staff on here get bombarded constantly when they join a server.

I am very well organized and proficient at staff duties and keeping logs of infractions/screenshots.

I am helpful. I always do my best to help anyone out in a server if they have questions that I am able to answer. I know the staff get busy and they do not always have the time to respond so I help where I can.

I am known on the server, I have a guard application already created and have a lot of positive feedback on it from the amazing community that is Mineverse.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?

I work four days a week. I am proficient at my job and therefore have downtime. This allows me ample time thought the day to be on MineChat. Being on MineChat I would be able to at least moderate the chat for spam, language, disrespect, racism, advertising etc. During this time I would also be able to answer any questions from players. I will also be available on the forums to deal with reports and answering questions.

Before work I can be online for an hour and after work I am able to be in game for a few hours. So for 4 days out of the week I am pretty much active and available all day.

I have Saturday, Sunday and Monday off of work. I can of course be online on weekends for most the day except for of course vacations/travelling, family events and general fun escapes from the monotony of the work week with the wife such as the movies, bowling and other getaways. Monday's are my relaxing minecraft days. I am online pretty much for 8 hours straight on Monday

How long have you been playing Mineverse?

I have been playing Mineverse since about a month after it's release. I am a long time player and have deep roots in the old prison.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?

As stated, I have a lot of experience with staffing servers. On Minecraft I have found that I love building. I have helped build 4 prison servers and am well versed in WorldEdit, WorldGuard, SimpleRegionMarket and many other plugins and commands that are on servers.

I have been a guard on multiple servers as well as Moderator, Admin, HeadAdmin and CoOwner. A few have been shut down but I am still an active CoOwner on a prison server. If high staff would like to see proof you may pm me for the ip.
